The flight back to Arkta was a blur. I was still in pain so I remembered being sedated in the middle of the flight. I fell asleep to papa and Brady’s voice talking in the background. For a moment, it felt peaceful because I was back with my family but as soon as the darkness of my unconscious mind took over me, my nightmares started to play with me again.
I desperately wanted to escape them but I knew I was trapped until the medicine wore off. I woke up distressed. I found myself already back in our house, in my bedroom. Mama and my older sister, Veronica were by my side along with Brady and Papa.
