After dinner, I went straight to my bedroom to get fresh and to call home. After I was done talking to papa and mama, I tried going to sleep but I just couldn’t fall asleep.
There were so many things that kept me awake. I kept tossing in my bed till late in the night but sleep was nowhere to be found. I thought about visiting Stefaan several times but there was this nagging voice in my head telling me that it wouldn’t be a good idea.
So, I stayed in my bedroom and tried to sleep. It must have been early in the morning when I finally fell asleep. I was soon being woken up by Martha knocking on my door.
I was feeling groggy as I opened the door and found Martha standing outside. She smiled at me as she saw me and asked, “Would you like coffee or tea?”
