Chapter 5 “That habit will kill you.” Talbot nodded to Catherine Jacobs as she lit another cigarette without breaking her stride. She picked a stray flake of tobacco from the tip of her tongue before she stuck out said tongue, waggling it lewdly. She’d picked up combat style gear somewhere and with the rifle she carried, she managed to appear as a war-worn recruit in the army. No denying her sense of post-apocalyptic fashion suited the backdrop of a ransacked, semi-demolished small town.
