“Sorry” I muffled out ready to walk away when he spoke. “Can we talk?” His tone was serious which got me thinking what he has off his sleeves. It better not be regarding Lucy because I’m not going to take any antics from either him or her.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure if I want to engage in a conversation with Lucius. But curiosity got the better of me, and I nodded reluctantly. “Fine, let’s talk,” I replied, my voice guarded.
He motioned towards a nearby bench, and we both sat down. The tension between us was palpable as we faced each other. I braced myself for whatever he had to say.
