My eyes lingered on the message from the group chat Lucy had created for the three of us. She wants us to meet at a spa salon.
I honestly don't know what they're planning but I want to pretend and see what they will do. I contemplated for a while before typing away agreeing to meet them. I still have an hour before the time they specified. I used that to check on the dog patient that was brought in. I really need to get an assistant. The last one I had moved out of the city with her family.
As I attended to the dog patient, my mind couldn't help but wander back to the upcoming meeting with Lucy and Maggie. I wondered what they had in store for me this time. It was clear that their intentions were not entirely genuine, and I needed to tread carefully.
