The next morning, it was almost noon when we sat on the breakfast table, much later than our regular running schedule, but Sia slept in because Aaliyah was sleeping too, Cole was still hungover after Zach's bachelor party, and it was safe to say that I was tired too because of going to bed late last night. I didn't even want to begin thinking about what got me late.
So we three adults just sat on the table silently eating our own breakfasts until Sia said, "Dais.."
I looked up from my breakfast plate and at her. "Hmm?"
"There's something I wanted to say," she half smiled.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "I'm listening."
"I and Cole have been talking... and we would love to have you staying here with us," She exchanges a look with her husband, who just gives her a nod and urges her to go on.
