I loved sun sets much more than sun rises, but there was something tranquil about watch the first rays of light pass through the horizon this time. I saw the black night dissipate as day spread overhead like a gentle reminder that even after the darkest nights, the sun will rise again. Even after the worst days, happiness will find you again. As the last shade blue of the night turned into a brighter one and the stars vanished, I watched the sky while letting the painkillers kick in, and once they did, I was about to move around. I was not sure if I should go out of the room I was caged in just yet, and so I took a warm water shower first. I didn't know whose clothes those were- the ones that I was wearing and the fresh ones lying in the wardrobe for me to change into. Elena didn't know
