Later in the evening, I stood in the café at the end of the street of my mother's house, hoping to get a coffee and clear my mind before returning to check on Aliyah. There were going to be chances I bumped into Caleb, if he'd be coming over for her too, and I had not spoken to him since the little talk we had last evening. There wasn't much to talk about, except every time I looked at him, I kept remembering how he told me that he did in fact cheat on me and if there was any truth remaining to us, it was that there was no 'us' anymore.
