[ The Past ]
My trip to New York had been exhausting. It was supposed to be a week long, but I had clammed my entire schedule into the week day to be able to leave late on Thursday night and be home on Saturday. I wanted to spend my Sunday with my boyfriend.
We had been distant lately, with me on the peak of my career always occupied with gigs, and Caleb settling down with his own company- it was a lot more work and time than magazines say for it to take. Our distance had been mostly because of work and lack of communication, really. But it wasn't like we hadn't gone through this before.. there was this time couple years ago when Caleb had just started out, and I had just started getting bigger and bigger brands too and he made promises to me that he couldn't keep.
