My hand trembled, making the key of my house scratch against the perfect door frame before getting in the keyhole, and I rapidly turned it, opening the door as fast as I could to get inside. The first thing I did was double lock the main door of my apartment, rushing to shut the blinds of the windows of the living room, keeping the lights still switched off.  In the dark, when my wobbling legs gave away, I sat leaving on the wall beside the door, trembling and shivering as I shut my eyes to avoid staring into the blinding darkness. It was dark. Really, really dark. And so I rightly pressed my eyes close, hiding my face in my knees as I shivered. Giving my personal security a day off was stupid.
