After that shout, things got deathly quiet for several minutes. Vincent tried to get a look at who he now knew was at the end of the hall but Eli and his goons were in the way. He squirmed a bit, only to stop with a slight whimper as his legs were jostled. Grunting in frustration, he hung still, waiting for something to happen. He hoped it would soon, before he went mental. A cruel chuckle sounded from Eli, eventually, and some signal was given. Vincent was entirely unsure what it was but it couldn't have been a good one, because he suddenly found himself unceremoniously placed on his feet. The suddenness of it, coupled with the extreme agony his legs were still in, had him falling forward on his face to the laughter of the goons.
