3 Adam led his reluctant companions into the shop. The interior was filled with tall, dusty shelves upon which sat all manner of jars, bottles, sacks, and Tupperware. The jars and bottles were filled with indescribable floating solids in fluids as thick as molasses, but with a hideous green tinge instead of the vibrant orange. The sacks hung on the ends of the shelves, and from their bottoms there occasionally leaked some fluid that looked suspiciously liked blood. Cotio shut the door behind them and gestured down the center aisle that led to a desk and back door. “This way.” The group followed their guide, but had only made it a few steps when Cate let out a shriek and jumped back into Sarah’s arms. “What is it?” Sarah asked her.
