6 Sarah habitually looked for a seat belt as the car backed out of the garage. The failure to find any reminded her that there wasn’t any to find. She leaned between the seats and looked to Ruthven. “Why don’t you have seat belts in this thing?” “Rather a waste of redesign for so many among the living dead,” he pointed out. “I’m not,” Amand reminded him as he wiggled in his seat. One of his elbows jabbed into Adam’s side and his other arm knocked into Ruthven. “Stop moving or I’m going to give you some practice in tuck-and-roll,” Adam snapped.
