Cry for my child Evelyn’s pov I stood at the entrance of her cell, she was on her knees, head looking down and chains holding her hands up tightly, she looked pitiful and broken but that wasn’t the case, I could feel her determination and her fighting spirit, damn girl refused to be broken. She raised her head to look at me, probably sensed how close I was to her, her face was tear stained and her breathing ragged, she definitely felt my betrayal. I felt a tug in my heart as I saw the tears on her face and every cell in this body woke up at the smell of her scent, stupid mate bond, I may have taken over the mind but the body and heart still belong to her, and it enraged me.
