ELISE’S POV I scrambled out of the soft bed as soon as I could to avoid the glass shards, glass shards are not my favorite thing in the world. I took refuge in the corner of the room far away from the god forsaken window. There was silence, just the occasional sound of the crickets and insects that I don’t know about. I waited a few minutes, taking a few deep breaths I stepped forward to see what caused the glass to break. Bad move, as soon as I stepped forward a big black creature jumped in the room causing me to shriek and fall flat on the floor.
