The Beast I Married.

A voice from behind.

“Hurry up baby, we are going go to be late. His husky voice whispered behind her and she smiled lightly.

“I'm almost done”.

Stepping into her beautiful kneel-length body hug gown she wore a shoe that fitted her dress well.

“You look beautiful” his words came to her like a surprise but she smiled and fondled her nails only.

“We should be on our way,” his voice was captivating but it was yet to do a thing to her body.

She places her hands into his and they began to walk majestically down the stairs.

Mrs. Wilfred and Bryan were both sighted on a couch that was opposite each other.

The sight was unbearable for them. It was Kai who would always sit next to her and ask for them to discuss even the silliest things in life.

Now he is so much obsessed with this lady, that he doesn't care about her again.

Ashley's gaze cut to Rex and she quickly took her gaze from his. Just his eyes on her body sent chills down her spine.

Rex watched as he switched turns with his brother. A couple of months back, Kai was always with his mother and he was always with this woman. Even though no one knew about them.

He would always come home and tell his mum, how much he is Into one soul, but now that soul is completely out of his life, and she now cherishes his brother most.

Sending a few greetings to his mum, he entangled his hand properly with Ashley's and led her out of the sitting room.

They stepped into one of the Lexus and Kai Ignited the car and hit the road.

His hand was on Ashley's hand all through the ride, he believes that she is the best decision he had ever made all her life.

Driving into a Chinese restaurant that had its name written boldly at the top of it ‘Lace’, Kai stepped out of the car and opened the door for Ashley to walk out. Placing his hands on hers, they both walked into the restaurant.

Paparazzi soon came from different angles capturing and taking pictures of them together but they were fast to walk into the restaurant.

They both order their various drinks and began to drink from them.

The table was pretty full as Kai had ordered everything she wishes to have.

The atmosphere was tense as no one was willing to talk, Kai would steal random glances at her and smile at how pretty she was. The silence was beginning to eat her up but just when she decided to talk, Kai broke the silence.

“You will make a great thief,” his voice was calm and tempting.

A light smile lingered on her lips

“Will I ?” it was like a whisper, but her words sent chills down her spine

“Yes, you've successfully stolen my heart away from me” he replied in a whisper and she giggled childishly.

She suddenly felt something running around her body, it was the butterflies that died a long time ago, they were running and jumping in her stomach.

Taking her hands into his, he winked at her, and she smiled. He placed a light kiss on her hand and for the first time, she felt a spark in her body.

She slowly raised her gaze to stare at him, she doesn't know if to believe that it was the spark she has been looking forward to.

She let her gaze fixed on his. She suddenly wants to feel the spark again. But as she knows, sparks come naturally it's not something you wait for, it's something that cuts you off guard.

“ I'm sorry I made you feel bad” his words came like a surprise, she wasn't expecting those words.

Her heart flutters and tears well up in her eyes

“ Don't cry baby” his hand held hers and he romances it gradually.

He was waiting for her to say he was forgiven, but she left him in silence and that made him feel bad.

“Why the sudden change” her words came out at the time he least expected and he sighed.

“I know you're having a great doubt about why I'm suddenly into you, but I just realized that you were not the version I saw you as I just realized that you give me that spark no one has ever made me feel.” it was like he was confessing his feelings, and he is not regretting it.

Her heart stiffened as she watched him confess his feelings to her, but was she ready to settle with him completely?was she doing this for herself, or was she doing it for the sake of her father?

“ I know how much you desire to be loved, I sincerely wish for you to give me the ability to prove to you how much I want to make you mine, how much I want to do to your body what your body craves for, just say yes to me.”

“I need the time to think this through” she replied and tears rolled down her cheeks, his words were making her emotional.

“ I know you have a lot of reasons to reject me, even if you won't consider how much I love you think about your father and how much he has worked so much for the company. Her heart stiffened and it linked into her stomach as she heard him say so.

She hated to be reminded about how her father had worked for her.

“I'm sorry I made you feel bad,” he apologies the moment he noticed her mood and she nodded faintly.

An hour passed and they both kept making each other happy, it was Past 3 and they soon made to leave. They paid for all the expenses and decided to leave.

Stepping into the car she heard a familiar voice and she stopped abruptly at her track.

Turning back to stare at the familiar voice she was met with someone she wishes to never set her eyes on.
