Chaper7. Amelia and Liam

(Amelia)

“ he did that?” Kayla asked as I met up with them at school the next day. I was telling them what went down at dinner with Liam and thrust me they were shocked that he actually stood up to my father.

“ well that kid as a death wish or something, if it was me I wouldn’t even want to be in the presence of Dominic sanders.” I rolled my eyes at Jason for being stupid.

“ he’s just a man like everyone else, no need to be scared of him.” I hissed out at him and he held his hands up in surrender.

“ I’m just saying, he is filthy rich and has connections so I wouldn’t want to mess with anyone like that.” I sighed and decided to drop the subject since they all seem to fear my father. I mean I did fear him yes, but at the end of the day he’s still a man and just a human like everyone else so no one should fear him because of his connections.

When we got to the lockers, I saw Liam and bran in a heated argument and decided to go and check it out, it was like they were two seconds away from killing each other and I couldn’t have that now could I?

“ what’s going on here?” They looked at me and Liam’s eyes became wide.

“ oh mia it’s nothing.” He denied rather too quickly which means he didn’t want to talk about it so I left it alone.

“ I thought you said you were going to come and pick me up at home to take me to school.” I folded my arms and pouted a bit, yes I was being a spoil brat and I didn’t care.

“ I forgot honestly, I had a talk with your father and he did say it was ok with me picking you up and taking you home but something came up and it slipped my mind so reign check?” He asked and I nodded my head and smiled.

“ yeah I have no problem with that as long as you don’t make it a regular habit.” He breathed a sigh of relief then pulled me in his arms to give me a hug.

“ p***y whip.” Bran said and Liam growled at him. For a second there I forgot about Jason and Kayla and was only reminded of them when Jason laughed at what bran said, I’m such a terrible friend.

“ ok let’s all get our things and head on to first period, don’t want to be late.” Liam said and I agreed with him.

I walked over to sit beside Kayla but Liam took my hand and led me to a seat next to his. I saw bran rolling his eyes and chuckled at how Liam was acting. Kayla and Jason were in this class with me and it sucks that they were only in a few of my classes but it’s something I had to deal with.

The teacher walked in and started yet another boring science class that we all had to participate in. It was still shocking to everyone that I was dating Liam and I took that opportunity to gloat in their faces. Julia tried to get my attention but I shrugged her off, I mean who wants a fake friend anyway? Definitely not me. They could all go to hell for all I care well except for my friends and Liam and his friends and don’t forget my brothers but apart from that everyone else can go to hell even the teachers.

I could see the changes in mia as she was smiling more and acting more like a queen. I loved it when she ignored everyone who tried to get her attention because quite frankly d.h.s was a school filled with fakes, even the teachers were fake.

“ you’re getting soft man.” Bran said as I made my way to gym class with him.

“ and what gave you that idea?” I asked as I stopped and looked at him.

“ ever since you’ve started seeing mia the queen of this school you’ve changed. I don’t see anyone running away from you anymore and what happened at lunch? That student bumped into you and spilled his drink on your shirt and all you said was it’s ok? Usually you’d be beating that boy to a pulp, I think you are becoming weak Liam.” I rolled my eyes and started walking in the direction of gym class.

“ I don’t know what you are talking about. It was an accident, if it was on purpose I would have likely killed the fucker but I don’t want to get into trouble because I don’t want to be away from mia.” Bran scoffed and shook his head.

“ what’s going on with you and Sam by the way?” I asked and his eyes became wide. He started looking everywhere but at me and i could tell I had hit a nerve.

“ n-nothing is going on between us, why do you ask? What do you know?” He asked and I chuckled a bit.

“ what I know is what I saw. You two are acting shady as hell and if there is something going on you should tell me, you know how I would feel knowing that my two best friend are keeping something from me?” Bran sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

“ I’ll tell you when I get the answer right now I’m just as confused as you so drop it and let’s move on.” I nodded my head and decided to give Bran a piece of advice.

“ your comment earlier made me think that you don’t like mia is that true?” I asked and he began shaking his head frantically.

“ it’s not true! I do like her and I can see she makes you happy, I’m just not use to seeing you like this that’s why I said that.” I looked at him for a second and figured out that he was telling the truth.

“ even if you or Sam don’t like her I wouldn’t care, I finally have her and there’s nothing you or anyone can do to change my mind about her and for future sake, do not repeat what you have just told me or our friendship as we know it will come to an end.” He looked down and nodded his head but kept his mouth shut because he knew I was serious and I was dead serious.
