EVOLET “What was all that about?” I groaned out, kicking a stone with force. “Both mother and son are crazy! First she sends for me and poured some stinky liquid on me, then that pervy son of hers dares to hold my hand after what he did?! They are all mad!” I aimed for another stone but missed. “ARGH!” I roared, going after the stone and trying one more time. But I kept on missing the kick, increasing my rage. “Stupid! Stupid!! STUPID!!!” I shouted, stamping my feet on the floor. Puffing out my steam, I lifted my eyes and found Cadell staring at me in surprise. I don’t even know when he shifted into a human. He just stood there with his eyes wide and that mouth slowly spreading into a smile. “What?” I squeezed my face angrily, suspecting that grin slowly developing on Cadell’s face.
