Chapter 10: New Home

900 Words
The car stopped right in front of the new house. I looked out the car window and saw the house. The house was beautiful and there was a beach just a few meters away from the house. The house looked expensive though. It almost seemed like some house from a movie. I guess Tyran's family was rich. "Well, that's our new house then," I heard Tyran saying as he parked the car in front of the house. Our new house? Hm, I guess it didn't sound that bad. "Let's go," he said. "I am tired and need a good night sleep." I nodded. Tyran got out of the car and went near mine and opened the car door. I got out of the car and began to walk as I felt hurt in my foot more. The pencil heals were getting intolerable. We slowly opened the door and noticed how big the house was. The house had a living room and a drawing room. The kitchen was just beside the drawing room. There was a staircase. "Wow, didn't expect dad to do all this," Tyran said. "Even the furniture and electrical devices were new," I said as I looked at the room furniture. Tyran looked at the staircase and said, "That's the staircase to the bedrooms, I think." "It better be," I sighed. "My feet are hurting and I do need to sit down and then change and do my Isha prayers." "Yeah, let's check upstairs," he said. I nodded. I took out my pencil heals and sighed in relief. I pulled my ling skirt a bit and noticed the redness and cut marks on my feet. I sighed. I need to bandage my feet after Isha prayer. I began to climb stairs with Tyran and reached the 2nd floor. There were 3 rooms. However, one room was decorated with candles and red rose petals. However, the other rooms were locked and had the lights turned off. "You go and stay in this room," Tyran said as he pointed to the room that had the candle lights and red rose petals. "I will try to get to unlock another room so I can stay there." "Thanks," I smiled at him and went to the room. I closed the room door but didn't lock it. The whole room was beautifully decorated. It made me smile somehow as I noticed how much effort his dad pit to decorate this bedroom. I noticed the luggage and went near it and opened it. It was filled with comfortable home outfits. Probably, Tyran's dad arranged this or maybe his sisters. I took out a long t-shirt and a loose pyjama and went to the washroom. I took off my hijab and quickly stopped out if my wedding dresses and took a shower. I did my ablutions and then wore my t-shirt and pyjama and got out of the washroom. It was honestly hard to walk on my feet with the pain that I was feeling from the cuts. I let my wavy red hair lay open in my back since it was wet. I got out of the washroom and put on a hijab and out the prayer matt on the floor and started my Isha prayer. I started my prayer and after I finished my prayer, I held my hands to make dua. "Allah (S.W.T.), You are the most merciful and most powerful. You know my past and my present and my future. Today, I got married to Tyran," I prayed. "However, it was because of a deal. I might have the wrong intention of marriage but I do respect this marriage. Please, Allah (S.W.T.) forgive me if I had any mistakes. However, please have your blessings in this marriage. Tyran and I both thought that we could live a separate life after marriage but now we both got stuck and from now on, we have to live in the same house. In a way, this may be something that was already in our fate. So, please Allah (S.W.T.), have your blessings in this marriage. I might not ever fall in love with Tyran but please help Tyran and me to work out this marriage." I finished making the dua and got off the floor. I folded the prayer matt and put it on the wardrobe. I then walked towards the bed with very difficulties as the pain in my feet increased. I sat in bed and put my hijab away and I sighed. My feet were hurting so badly. There was a knock on the room. "Yes?" I asked. "Jasmin, I need to come inside. Is that okay?" I heard Tyran's voice. Why did Tyran need to come inside? I got off the bed and then noticed that I wasn't wearing a hijab. I was confused. Should I wear a hijab or no? Because I was married to Tyran but then . . . it wasn't like I had or felt any attraction towards him or it wasn't like I feel comfortable with him. What should I do? I was confused as I reached for the door when suddenly, I stepped on my own foot and fell on the floor. "Ouch!" I winced in pain as I fell in the floor. The doorknob suddenly got turned as Tyran rushed inside the room and saw me lying on the floor without wearing a hijab.
