1763 Words
I stood in front of the Starlight Colligate Institute where the was a fall festival. Everything was decorated beautifully and the students were doing an excellent job in welcoming new students. The school staffs were not with me as they were already spread out in the festival so that it won't look suspicious. I walked towards the school's field where I saw various sports taking place. There was also some bake sales inside the school hallway. I went inside the school hallway and began to walk towards the classrooms. I noticed a small little girl running down the hallway and running towards the library. She was wearing a beautiful red dress and had her hair tried in a pony tail. She seamed lost as she began to run towards the library. What was a little girl like her doing in this place? I made my way towards her when I noticed her opening the library door. She went inside the library and I followed her there as well. I went inside the library and noticed how huge it was but nobody seamed to be there. Not even a library teacher. Other classes had at least some people in it, but the library seamed empty. The big bookshelves seamed like nobody had ever touched them. I noticed the little girl running around the bookshelves. She seamed to be searching for something. "Mr. Bunny, where are you?" she asked as she ran to another row. Mr. Bunny? She was probably searching for her pet or soft toy then. I went near a shelf and pulled out a book. It was very clean and not even dusty. Strange. Nobody seamed to come to this library so shouldn't it mean that the books would be covered in dust? But the books looked, very clean. I was going to open the book when suddenly I heard a scream. I ran towards the row that the little girl took and saw the little girl was lying on the floor while some books were on top off her trapping her down. I ran to her and was going to pull out the books when I noticed the huge bookshelf beside her tilting and was falling toward us. The little girl screamed. I quickly stood on the floor and grabbed hold on the edges and the books so that it won't fall on the little girl. However, some books did fall on my arms, making my arms swollen. My fingers got hit by the edges if the bookshelf which was made of steel so my finger on my right arm got a cut and began to bleed. I needed to push the bookshelf so it won't hit either me or the little girl but the bookshelf was darn heavy. I used more forced and pushed the bookshelf backward, making it stand on its place again. I sighed in relief. Suddenly the library door opened, and as I eyes landed not he person, I was shocked. "Tyran?" I gasped. Tyran was standing at the library door, wearing his glasses and a shirt with a tie and a pant. I wanted to slap myself. How could I forgot that Tyran was the school teacher in this school?! Tyran eyes wided as he saw me and this eyes landed on the little girl who looked like she was on the verge of crying. "Maidah?" Tyran asked as he ran towards the little girl and pulled out the books. The little girl threw her arms around Tyran and began to sob. "Shhh, everything is alright," Tyran whispered as he stayed on her back. "Oh big bro, it was so scary," she muffled. Big bro? So, this was Tyran's sister? "What did I say about not running away from mom?" Tyran asked, ruffling her hair. "I am sorry, big bro," she sniffed. "I was just searching for Mr. Bunny." "Mr. Bunny is with mom. It just went in the back of the school but mom is there and caught it," he said. "Now calm down and stop crying." I watched how Tyran was behaving with the little girl. "You are okay now, Maidah?" he asked softly. Maidah sniffed and nodded. Then she looked at me with her blue eyes. "This pretty lady was so cool too," she smiled as she pointed at me and then looked at Tyran. "Oh really?" he laughed as he kissed Maidah's forehead. "Oh yes! She was so cool! She used her arms and pushed that heavy bookshelf away! She is totally a rock star," she giggled. My heart melted as I looked at the little girl who was giggling at me. I was never good with kids because I was never around kids but this little girl was so adorable. Tyran looked at me and then smiled. "Thank you, Jasmin." "Y-your welcome," I said. Tyran's eyes fall in my right hand where my finger was bleeding. "You are hurt," he said softly. "Oh this," I hit it behind my back. "It's nothing. I have been though much worse -" I paused before I made the mistake. Tyran seamed confused. "You went thought much worse? What do you mean? You were abused." "What? Of course not," I laughed. I had been to many missions where I was wounded harshly but I couldn't say that to Tyran. It would risk his life. "Oh, but . . ." he said. "You want to go to the nurse's office? You can get a bandage there and . . ." As Tyran kept talking, my eye fell on the bookshelf that was going to fall on was before. It was strange that I didn't see anybody but still the bookshelf was falling by its own. There need to be somebody who pushed the bookshelf. My eyes fell on the huge window of the library. Somebody probably had came form there and pushed the bookshelf. I looked at Tyran again and noticed him still talking. "Um . . . Tyran, don't you have anywhere else to go?" I asked with a smile, fixing my hijab a little. "Actually, I do," he said as he turned around and looked at the door of the library. "My class is having a bake sale," he said as he kept talking and looking towards the door. I took this chance and tiptoed towards the window and noticed a shoe print there. I was right. Somebody did came from here. But who? I looked back at Tyan and noticed him still turning back and talking with his sister. I pulled out my gun from my pocket and looked down. The library was only a floor high from the ground. I jumped out of the window and landed safely on the ground. I sighed in relief. I looked around. I was at the back of the school where no body would usually go. I heard footsteps. "Who is here?" I asked holding my gun. "Show me who you as before I find you and shoot you!" I noticed a shadow near the building corner and heard him firing the gun. There were a few bullets that was shot towards me. Luckily for me, I was wearing a bullet proof jacket. I ran towards the man and kept firing my gun. I had to find him. Suddenly, I heard a scream of a woman from the back of the building area where the man was running. I quickly ran towards the place and found a man was holding onto a woman on his gun point. The woman was wearing a hijab and her eyes were blue as well, just like Tyran and Maidah. There was bunny on her hand. My eyes wided in realization. She was Tyran's mom?! Her eyes wided as she saw me. It seamed like she already knew me and she as shocked that she saw me holding a gun. "Who are you?" the mad asked as he held the gun on her. "Don't you dare to do anything to her! I am warning you! I can get you in jail for this!" I said pointing my gun at him. "Jail! Just tell me who are you!" he yelled. "Or else -" The woman winced in pain as he put his arms around her neck and pushed her chin up. "No, don't!" I said. "Then speak." "I am . . ." I looked at the woman who was struggling to break free from his hold. "I am Agent Jade, an undercover officer of the Criminal Investigation Team." That woman looked at me in shock. I wanted to hide this from her but I had to say that to save her. I tried to come closer to that man when suddenly, I bumped into a small rock and fell on the ground. That man took this chance and threw Tyran's mom on the ground and began to run. "Hey!" I yelled as I took out my gun and shot him, but he dodged it. That man turned to me and then shot a bullet. The bullet was going towards me and just before I was going to dodge it, Tyran's mom came in front of me and the bullet shot on her chest. That man ran off as I rushed to Tyran's mom. She was bleeding as I pulled her to my arm. "Why?" I asked as I took out my phone to call ambulance. She coughed as she looked at me. "Jasmin . . . Agent Jade . . ." I didn't know what to tell her. She knew my secret. "You hid everything from us. Even from Tyran," she coughed. "I had to. It is a part if my duty and please stop talking. You are going to bleed more. I don't know what to answer Tyran if something happens to you," I said as I felt my eyes become watery. Yes, I was an agent and I was supposed to be strong to be able to hold my tears. But, a woman who doesn't even know me properly just saved my life and now on my arms, bleeding rapidly. How can I stay heartless after that? "Can you please promise me something? You at brave and strong, just what I am looking for my son," she coughed out blood this time. "Please, you have to stop talking. You are bleeding more, now," I said. Tears were running down my eyes. How was I ever going to face Tyran if something happens to his mom because of me. "Just promise me," she coughed more blood. "Please marry my son, Tyran."
