  So she couldn't make it home in time to prepare dinner. She sighed as she removed her helmet and placed it carefully on the scooter.   She stretched her body that was already stiff from sitting for too long in the traffic before advancing to the house. The door was unlocked and there was no one in both the sitting room and the dining room.   But she found two covered plates on the table which is obviously meant to be her dinner. She walked to the rooms first to check on her sister and mother.   No one was in her room or Lena's so she walked to her mother's room.
