Gianna I had a nightmare a couple of nights ago of the worst kind. I was running through the forest, screaming Lorcan’s name. But he was nowhere to be found. It was freezing, I couldn’t find shelter, and nothing surrounding me looked familiar. A presence behind me made me feel that something terrible was about to happen. I had to get away from the monster chasing me; I needed to find my mate. My heart ached as I called and called his name. I came upon the lake where a body lay, naked and filthy. I ran as fast as I could until I reached Lorcan. I fell to my knees, sobbing as I held him close to my breast. ‘Don’t leave me,’ I begged and begged, but Lorcan didn’t wake up. He was dead, and nothing would bring him back to me. Lorcan was torn from my arms and flung against a tree, his body
