I put myself in between them. “Come on guys. We are all allies here.”
“Get out of the damned way Christian!” Jace pushes me and I stumble back but I quickly regain my footing.
‘Just kick both their asses and be done with them.’ Cyprian says irritated.
I am about to just pull one of them away but from the corner of my eyes, I see a small figure rush past me and jump on Jace.
“Don’t you touch him!” River’s voice comes from that tiny figure.
I stand there shocked and unable to react as I see River, straddling Jace from the front while she punches him over and over. Jace is also so surprised that all he does is hold her by the thighs and stumble around completely disoriented.
