*Mirabella's POV*
---
“Finally! My lovely granddaughter is getting married!” My Grammy Stefania boomed as she stepped inside my room while wearing her proud smile. Well, it's about time.
I just showered and got my straight brown hair blow-dried. And, she might have arrived from her mansion that is ten minutes drive from here.
The woman came near me to hug me tight, but I know that she is about to cry. It is indeed a very big day for me. It only happens once in our life. Well, except if you will get married again.
“Grammy, don't cry. I'd still be your only girl, and I'm not going anywhere.” I told her as I kiss her head. And, she broke off and shook her head lightly, which I just smiled and giggled as she takes a deep breath to keep herself from shedding a tear.
“Nope, because, today... you'll become a woman, Mira. You will finally be a wife, Mrs. Mirabella Amherst-Posner. And, I'm so proud of you, and I'm sure that your parents are, too. They would be very happy to see you and your future family with Timothy.” She stated with her teary eyes, and I nodded my head while showing a small smile. I wish that they are still here to witness this day of my life, but I know that they are just around.
“Yeah! And, I'm so sure that Michael will be laughing his ass out if he'll see me being tied to his best friend for life.” I joked and chuckled as I remember how my late older brother would always taunt me for choosing a jerk to be my first boyfriend.
“I missed them, too, Sweetie. So, well... let's get ready for today's special event. You only have three hours left, but I won't worry because you don't need too much makeup to look gorgeous.” She uttered and pinched my cheeks while chuckling softly.
“Alright, I'll see you later, and I'll be just in the other room to check your bridesmaids.” She added and sauntered out of my room.
Then, I let out a heavy breath that I have been holding for a while. I just don't know but I feel somewhat worried about something that I can't figure out. Maybe it's nervousness or excitement. Or, maybe both.
---
A smile slowly crept on my face as I thought of my man. Well, today, we will finally be living under one roof and will think of our lives together for the future. Tim and I are together for more than three years, and we are engaged for over a year. We were supposed to get married, last year, but a month before the date, my grandfather died. So, it is moved today.
Well, I truly am happy to have him as my partner because he is everything a woman would ask for, and for me, he is more than enough. He was there to comfort me, and he never left my side when I lost my family in a road accident, two years ago. And, I know that he loves me and I love him, too.
Well, thinking about the man... here he is leaning on the doorstep while wearing a smirk on his face and staring at me lovingly.
“What the heck are you doing here, Tim? You are not supposed to see your bride before your wedding. You should be seeing me today if you are standing near the altar and waiting for me. Don't you know that it's bad luck?” I stated in frustration, and he just scoffed as he slowly walks nearer to me.
“That's just a superstition, babe. A belief that was never been proven. No one can stop me this time from marrying you, today. And, later... You know what will happen later tonight. Finally, after three years and two months!” He answered and winked at the last part that made me roll my eyes playfully. Finally, it is.
“Yeah! But still, you shouldn't be in here. Did Grammy see you?” I uttered and asked him, then he pecked my lips.
“No, that's why I am doing my ninja moves for me not to be caught by her because I don't know if what she'll do to me. I just passed by to see you, and I'm gonna go now before you postpone our wedding day.” He said as he anxiously looking at the door and listening to any signs of my grandmother.
And, I just raised an eyebrow at him, and he cleared his throat.
“So... see you later in your wedding gown, My Soon-to-be Mrs. Posner.” He uttered and kissed my lips before heading out.
---
My heart pounds as I walk down the aisle while a classic wedding song is playing in the background. And, I roamed my gaze around to look at the familiar faces of the people who are flashing their bright smiles at me. Well, on the right side are mostly my relatives and close friends, while Tim's are on the other.
Then, a smile painted on my face as my gaze focused on the man in a gray suit with a pink tie that has been standing in front. And, he smiled warmly at me as our gaze locked. He is just so handsome.
“Mira, Sweetie, this is it. I'm giving you away.” Grammy uttered, and I noticed the tears have escaped her eyes as I looked at her face. No, I don't want to cry yet.
“I'll be fine, Grammy. And... thank you for escorting me for this moment of my life.” I told her as we stop walking where my fiancee will take my hand from my grandmother.
And, I hugged her tight as I just can't contain my feelings. She's the only one I have left, and I am more than grateful that I have her with me, today.
“I love you, Grammy,” I muttered, and she whispered, "I love you, too."
“Now, Timothy... I trust in you that you'll take good care of my granddaughter for the rest of your lives. It's about time.” She stated as she looks at my future husband, and the man hugged her tight.
“Of course, Grammy! I'd do my best to be a great husband. And, thank you so much for welcoming me to be a new part of your family.” Tim answered with a smile, and I couldn't be grateful that he really did change from being a complete bad boy from the moment I met him and turned into a sweet gentleman.
And then, Grammy squeezed my right hand before letting it go and be met by my significant other's hand, and he kissed it.
“Hi, it's so great to see you in that dress, Mira. You are so beautiful.” He greeted me with his bright smile as he looks straight into my eyes, and we started walking on the stairs in front and to the altar while he holds my right hand.
“You look great, too. And also, pink looks good on you.” I complimented, and we both chuckled softly.
Then, we halted in front of the pastor, and this is it, the ceremony will officially start.
“Dear friends and family, we have come together in the presence of God to witness and bless the joining together of this man and this woman in Holy Matrimony. The union of Mirabella Porter-Amherst and Timothy Wales Posner in marriage. Through their time together, they have come to realize that their dreams, hopes, and goals are more attainable and more meaningful through the combined effort and mutual support provided in love, commitment, and family; and so today, they will begin their life together, as husband and wife.” He began, and I couldn't be happier that this is finally happening.
We will ultimately be one, and we could finally fulfill our plans since last year. Though we have faced different hardships, we survived it all, especially when I lost my loved ones and my family's business has suffered from loss because of a trusted head of the enterprise that turned out to be a traitor. But thankfully, he is imprisoned and it's in my hands now, and we are doing great.
“Into this union of Mirabella Amherst and Timothy Posner now come to be joined. If there is anyone present who can show just cause why they may not be joined in matrimony, speak now, or else forever hold your peace.” The officiant continues, and there is a moment of silence as everyone waited for any objection. And, I am very sure that there is none. Well, only the death of a family member has postponed this wedding but it's not stopped. And, here we are.
“Yes, I would like to say something.”
My eyes widened in shock as a voice of a woman echoed in the hall that made us all turned our heads to the person.
“What the f**k?” I muttered under my breath, and I turned my gaze to my fiancee, which he just shrugged his shoulders in response with his confused face.
Who the hell is she?
