Nervously, Tara looked around the Underworld. It was cold, dark and creepy to her. She wrapped her arms around herself as she looked around. The houses were rundown and looked abandoned. There were no trees or grass, just reddish brown dirt everywhere. The sky was hazy and the big orange glowing circle in the sky radiated a hellish heat down on the land. She saw a guard as he approached her. He came up to her quickly.
"What are you doing here? Humans don't belong in this realm!" The guard snarled at her.
His voice was deep and distorted. Tara shivered and coward a little as she looked up at the large man nervously.
"I was sent here by the queen, to find Bastian," Tara said in a shaky voice, and the guard looked her over.
"Wait here!" The guard growled, and he walked a few steps away.
