Gabi’s POV
I finish my story and I can tell how upset Tanner was for me. When he was kissing me on the shoulder as I told him, it really actually helped to comfort me more than he knows.
I feel him lying behind me and I like breathing his scent in, it does calm me, and Tala is excited that we have Tanner and Rafe here to protect us. She said that when Derek was in the room earlier, Hunter, Derek’s wolf, warned her that Derek would be coming back in the night, because he wanted to take me before Tanner could. That was very upsetting to hear, and Tanner didn’t even know how accurate he was about the fact that Derek was just going to get bolder and angrier with each rejection I gave him.
