Gabi’s POV
I know that Tanner was being honest with me. I can tell he loves me, but it is still upsetting that I will still be battling uphill again when I go to his pack to be introduced. That Dana girl will have friends, and this would be another difficult situation to deal with. She obviously wants Tanner very much, if she rejected her Goddess-given mate, to wait for him to decide to make her his mate. I am glad I won’t have to fight her for the Luna title, but I will still probably have to fight her at some point, as I have a sneaking suspicion he is downplaying her aggression over him. It really makes me sad that he didn’t wait for me as I waited for him, but I am glad his mom stepped in and spoke to him about his actions.
