Samira stared at him with unblinking eyes for several seconds, trying to find the source of the sudden rise and fall of her chest, her heart beating loudly in her ribcage and the imaginary ear-splitting sound she heard in her ear. Imaginary since Andi’s voice was so soft when he uttered it, yet it resonated a loud tone, bearing a message so worrisome.
Not to mention that there was also glee in his eyes…but how come she felt uneasy? Distressed? Scared? Troubled? She hasn't the faintest idea.
