CHAPTER 10
After the breakfast talk, Samira had with her grandfather, she spent the rest of the day inside her room.
It was evident that her engagement was like a high and solid wall placed between herself and her grandfather. It was bound to separate them if Samira wouldn't bow down and accept the engagement. She felt that her heart was pinched a thousand times. She came back with high hopes of changing his belief, or she could make the Azures withdraw from the arrangement themselves. It was apparent, however, that both families were deeply rooted and obviously intent to stand on their words.
As far as her grandfather was concerned, any refusal would never be coming from the Tantacos. If ever rejection was possible, it had to come from the Azures.
