Samira left the restroom upset and saw Andi was speaking with several businessmen near the table occupied by them earlier.
She grabbed a glass of wine from the waiter and drank it straight down as if she was drinking cold water and not chilled alcohol. After emptying the glass of wine, she took another one with her to the table. She knew her low alcohol tolerance but she needed it in her bloodstream to steady her nerves.
She approached the table after exchanging a few words with the ladies she came across along the way. She quietly sat down and spoke with the lady on her left, ignoring Andi.
