That was the only thing I could think of, even though it felt like the plot of a dud movie. What if Orsa had escaped from some sort of facility, you know, where they kept people who were a danger to themselves and society? Maybe she’d escaped from prison. There was no other reason for her to say that no one would hand her over to the authorities ever again, unless someone had already done it in the past.
ever againI didn’t know much about such places, but she was acting like a character in a low-budget horror movie, and she certainly deserved to be locked up for the way she took that bus through the centre of town without a care for anyone else.
Uh oh. I suddenly remembered where I last saw a bus conductor. Not on our school bus. The last bus conductor I saw was in a movie. An old movie.
