"I don't know what that means."
Those six little words send the whole room into sadness. She is still looking at the phone in her hand. I look around the room and see my beta frozen, his mate looking as if she might cry. I don't know how much Mark told Angie about Ember, but she seems to have taken those six words very much to heart. Mark reaches over and puts his arm around her to comfort her and keep her from full on tears. I wish so bad I could do that for my Ember. However, I know that doing so could push her further into her shell. She is doing okay, but that panic attack earlier scared the s**t out of me. I want to avoid that at all cost.
