Centuries ago, the Lycans ruled the world. They were so powerful that even the Gods became terrified of them. They were strong, quick, and intelligent, but they loved to acquire more knowledge, which is why the Gods began to feel threatened by them.
The Moon Goddess, or Selene, was the mother of these Lycans, and like her mother, she didn’t want them to perish. She found that the Gods were only worried about losing power.
