“We’re back!” I screamed as we barged into Rachel and Toby’s apartment. I texted them yesterday so they were expecting us to come over for dinner.
“How’d everything go?” Rachel whispered in my ears as she came to greet me with a hug.
I looked at her then at Ethan and just smiled.
“Well remember that arranged marriage partner my parent’s arranged for me?” Rachel nodded as Toby took a seat next to her on the dining table. I know Toby knew as Rachel kept no secrets between the two of them.
“Well let me introduce him. Ethan Tanner, my fiancée.” I pointed at Ethan who raised his hand up and smiled at Toby and Rachel who just froze. It seems that whenever we announce that we’re now engaged everyone’s reaction is the same, they freeze.
