Chapter 15

Adrian's POV

I don't know what is happening with me. I am a man who likes to control everything including my life and I had everything under my control until one day this girl came out of nowhere and created a havoc in my perfectly planned life. I have never felt it difficult to control my emotions around anyone, especially a woman. I have never felt this kind of attraction to any woman before, that too towards a simple girl like her. What the hell is wrong with me !!!!

I am not a great fan of babies but Iva has managed to wrap me around her little fingers. My little niece is now my everything. I was someone who always preferred clubs over my house at the end of a stressful day. But now, all I want to do is finish up my work and go home to my baby (Maybe to the nanny too. Nope, never mind. I didn't say that) These girls (Yep, you guessed right, my kitten and my little niece) are turning me into someone whom I can't recognize anymore.

Also my company lost the project with the Rovio Corporation due to the accident and the related events. I am extremely devastated as it was my dream project and we had a great loss in terms of both money and reputation. But I got to know that they are planning a much bigger project in the US which is going to be finalized before the end of this year. So I am hoping to bag that one.

The past two months had been pure torture. I have been trying my best to avoid any interactions with Elena eventhough what I really want to do is to take her in my arms and kiss the living daylights out of her. I think she must have felt it too as she doesn't even face me anymore and its really frustrating. To mask my feelings I often snap at her and scold her for silly things and I believe she hates me now. But its better to make her hate me than to give her false hopes. Because I know that she is too pure for me and I don't deserve her. To top it all of, Chase got to know that Elena is my kitten. It was a slip of tongue from my part and he had put the two and two together. He even retrieved the CCTV footage of our first meeting in the mall and confirmed my kitten's identity. That b*****d is now blackmailing me with that s**t. Also he is trying his best to rile me up by flirting with her and touching her whenever I am near. I am definitely going to kill that i***t soon....

It was my own plan to make Elena stay in the room opposite to mine, but it just backfired on me. Elena always wear modest dresses whenever she's in the house. I have never seen her wear something that doesn't reach her knees or that shows her skin. She always wear loose clothes and doesn't even wear makeup except for a lip gloss. So it was easy for me to put a leash on my raging hormones s. But it was on a night, a few days back that I got the biggest shock of my life. I was late from my office and it was almost midnight when I reached home. I was really tired and was going to my room in the hopes of getting a good sleep. When I got near Iva's room, I heard her crying and so I decided to take a look. I saw Iva fuzzing and wailing in her crib. So I picked her up and was trying to pacify her when someone barged into the room. When I looked up, the sight before me made my throat go dry and my blood rush to parts where it shouldn't have been. My kitten was standing there in a small spaghetti top and a really short shorts with her smooth legs on display. Man, she has curves to die for. Her shiny black hair was in a messy bun. She looked so sexy that I wanted to take her then and there. Her flushed face and dress made it clear that she never expected to find me there. It got really hard for me to control myself so I immediately gave Iva to her and rushed out of the nursery but not before saving that image in my brain. I couldn't sleep for many nights as whenever I close my eyes, all I could see was my kitten in her pyjamas and my inner demons were making me imagine all the things that I could to do to her. I still get goosebumps whenever I think about that night. Damn it man, control yourself.....

Since then the things got really messy. My emotions are going haywire. But what scares me the most is that, a few days back when I saw Elena rocking Iva in her arms, singing her a lullaby I had a thought of how it would look if its our baby in her arms. Can you believe it!!!! I, who never wanted to marry nor wanted to have kids is thinking about my niece's nanny having my babies. This thought has been bugging me a lot and I can't even focus on my work properly. Chase advised me to either confess my feelings to her or to hook up with someone as according to him its the lack of s*x that's making me have these weird feelings. The first option is out of question as I don't want to have a relationship at any cost. The second option is not something that I haven't thought about. I even went to a club for the same. But now that I have seen my kitten in her full glory, I only want her and no other woman can satisfy me. But I know that I can't have her. However, I don't want a distraction, not now, not ever. Elena is a distraction and its not good for my future plans. So, I now try my best to spend less time at home. But, mom and dad are not at all happy with it and my mom even threatened to throw me out of my house if I didn't come back on time.

Its Sunday morning and I've decided to go out in the pretense of checking our mall (Yeah, the same mall where I met my kitten) But mom destroyed all my plans by making Dave go there instead. She ordered me to spend the day with Iva which means that I'll have to see my kitten too....Just what I needed right now !!!!! Even Chase was forced to stay home. Poor guy he was planning to hit the bar with Kayden and hook up with 'at least 3 chicks', his words not mine.

Talking about Kayden, I don't know whats up with that guy. Ever since Kevin's death, he started drinking more and he rarely goes home. He even came to see Iva only once when she was in the hospital but not after that. Albert wants him to take up the CEO's post but he doesn't even step into their building anymore. All of this is taking a toll on their company. I think Albert should sort things out fast or else they will lose everything that Kevin and Ana had built with their hard work.

I am now sitting in the living room with a sulking Chase when the door bell rang. We were not expecting any guests. I saw our maid, 50 year old Clara going towards the door. She came in with a man around my age and said that he was looking for Elena. He is quite good looking and well built but of course not as much as me....

Who is this guy and what does he want with my kitten??? I was going to ask him who he was when Chase beat me to it. He said that his name is Ryan and he is a doctor in the hospital Elena was working in. I have heard his name before, but I can't quite figure out where. So I asked him, "What is your relation with Elena and why do you want to see her ???"

He stared at me for a minute and then replied smirking, I don't think I need to clarify it to you. Just tell me where she is. But I would say that I am quite close to her, closer than you can ever imagine (Who the hell is he ??? Is he her boyfriend ??? But I've got to know that she has never been in a relationship. I am getting furious thinking about the possibility of him being close with her)

Boyfriend ??? Kind of...Don't worry, you can see it now for yourself, he said taunting me (Did I say it out loud ??? Why the hell am I acting like a jealous teenager ???)

Before I could say anything Chase led him to the garden where Elena and Aves were playing with Iva. But the things that happened then made me want to kill him then and there. He was touching her...Kissing her...Hugging her.

How dare he touch what is mine!!!! But to my shock, my kitten hugged him back. He claimed her to be his girlfriend and even asked her to marry him. I can't believe the things that he said about their kiss, quickies in their office.....I thought that my kitten was innocent but guess what she is also like those s**ts who throw themselves at men. Then what is her problem with me ??? Maybe she is playing hard to get....I can't control my rage seeing them being all lovey-dovey and playing family with my niece. I yelled out many things in my fury which I don't even remember. It was my last straw when he taunted me asking who I was to control Elena and then he tried to kiss her in front of me. I really wanted to kill that b*****d then but to his luck, Chase held me down.

Chase was asking me to control myself as I was being so obvious about my feelings, when mom and dad came. I was dumbfounded hearing Elena say to mom that they were just pranking us. What the hell kitten!!!! how can you let someone touch what is mine ??? That too just for a prank.....I will punish you soon for the act that you pulled before me now.

That b*****d stayed for lunch upon my mom's request. Sometimes I really hate my mom. Can't she see that her son is suffering here!!!! All the while he had his hands all over my kitten and was smirking at me. I so wanna cut off his damn hands....I can clearly see that his intentions are not pure. He has feelings for my kitten but she seems to be unaware of it. Also, my stupid sister seems to be attracted to this m***n, but he had his eyes only for my girl. It is a real torture to see your girl being touched by another man in front of you and you can't do anything about it. Chase was trying his best to calm me down. I was quite relieved when he said that he was leaving but that son of a b***h had the audacity to kiss her in front of me and smirk at me (Eventhough it was only a forehead kiss, but it was a kiss afterall) I stormed out of there that instant, because I knew that if I had stayed back any longer I would've beat him up.

I am not gonna leave that b*****d. He had the audacity to come into my house and touch my girl. He doesn't know the real Adrian Knight. I never allow someone to live in peace if they dared to take what is mine. Elena is my girl and only mine. Well, I have realized one thing that I can never let her go, not in this life time. I have decided to make her mine at any cost. Even if I have to marry her, I'll do that. But I'll have to deal with my mom before making any moves. She seems to be very protective of Elena and she won't allow me to even touch her against her will. My kitten seems to hate me (of course, she knows my history) and she won't accept me easily. I guess I'll have to work hard to convince her.

I am now in my room going through some files in my laptop. I'm still furious at my kitten for letting another man touch her. I know that she doesn't have any feelings for me. But still, how can she let someone touch her like that ??? If I see her right now I might snap at her. So I skipped the dinner. I was thinking about my kitten, when I heard a knock on my door. I hate people disturbing me. I opened my door furiously and shouted at the person to leave me alone, when someone barged in. Only my stupid cousin has the audacity to do that.

"What do you want Chase ???" I asked getting annoyed. He plopped himself down on my bed and asked, Bro why didn't you come down for dinner??? You didn't even pick up my calls. What's the issue???

I scoffed at him and said, "Don't act innocent Chase. You are very well aware of the reason. If you hadn't held me down, I would have killed that b*****d. How dare he touch my girl", I punched the wall in frustration.

Whoa bro, calm down. I am not taking sides or anything, but he didn't know that you like El. So we can't really blame him, he said trying to reason out. "You are really dumb Chase. I have always told you that if you want to beat your enemy, you should first observe him closely and learn about his moves. That b*****d has feelings for my kitten. He had been smirking at me the whole time he was with her. His last kiss was a direct challenge to me. But don't worry I won't let him have her, now that I have figured things out", I said laughing. Whoa, I didn't notice that, dude. El, is really unaware of all this. She only considers him as a good friend. But bro, if he dared to challenge you in our house then, lets show him what the Knights can do. So, tell me what's your plan, he asked getting curious (That's Chase. Whatever I do he always sticks by my side till the end. He is a true friend and my brother)

"Well don't worry about him. I am more than enough to teach him to never to play with a Knight again. But, I need your help in another matter. I have decided to pursue my kitten..."

Before I could complete my words Chase tackled me with a hug and shouted, That's like my boy. I have been waiting for this for so long. I admit that I don't know a thing about love or have never felt any such feelings myself. But what you have towards her is not just a mere attraction or lust. It is something special and believe me man, its really rare to find. Also, El is a sweet and innocent girl. She really loves our Iva and our family has already accepted her as a Knight. So, I would say that this is the best decision of your life and I'm damn sure you won't ever regret it.

"Yeah, bro. I realized that I can never bear to see her with another man. All thanks to that b*****d. So, I will make her mine even if I have to marry her like right now. I don't know if I can ever love her or anyone for that matter. I don't do 'love'. But eventually, I'll have to marry a girl that my mom chooses for me. So why not now. At least I get to marry a girl that I like. I'm pretty much sure that she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with not some bimbo like Stacey" I said smiling.

That's great bro. I'm sure Aunt Mila will be over the moon hearing this. She adores her like her own daughter and she will be more than happy to make Elena her daughter-in-law. Talking about her, Aunt and Uncle want you to be there in their office by 10 pm. She said that its important, he said pondering over it.

"Okay bro. But I want you to help me in wooing Elena. She kinda hates me now. I want her to fall in love with me. So, please bribe Aves and Dave to find the things that she loves. But don't tell them about my plan. Because I'm one hundred percent sure that my own sister will destroy my possible love life. She thinks that I don't deserve any girl better than Stacey"

Don't worry Ad, you have my word on it. I'll make sure that Elena falls head over heels for you. I want my niece to have the best mother she can ever get and my bro to have the perfect wife. In return I want you to give me your assistant's number, he said forwarding his hand (This guy is hopeless. Its been almost a month since he has been trying to get my assistant's number. But Laura is a hard nut to c***k and his charms didn't prove to be useful for the first time ever)

"Yeah, I can get you Laura's number before tomorrow evening. So, I guess then, that's a deal Mr. Knight", I said taking his hands and we both grinned at each other.

Get ready kitten. I'm going to make you mine soon. You will become Adrian Knight's wife and our Iva's mother.......
