Mystic Shadow

Jeremy- The house was about the same size as mine, but a bit on the dark side if you ask me.  The outside landscape had a sort of dark and medieval look to it.  There were gargoyles on the roof and statues by the entrance.  Their choice of landscape consisted of purple colored plants that just gave off a gothic type vibe.  On the big stone front doors, there was door knocker shaped into what I would guess was a dragon with fangs so it looked like you had to put your hand in it’s mouth to knock.  I looked back toward the car that was already pulling out of the driveway.  Well, the only choice I have is to move forward.  I knock three times and wait.  My palms are sweaty as I try to steady my breathing.  The door creaks open as a small old maid looks through the crack.  She lets out a sigh and opens the door wider, “Come inside my dear, they’re waiting for you in the sitting room.” Oh god, her voice was crackled and she looked like she belonged in this scary place they called home.  I grab my bag and step inside as she uses all her might to shut the heavy door behind me.  The inside matches the outside as it was very dark and dreary.  The walls were painted various dark colors and there were old paintings all over.  There were more statues inside as well as various old style weaponry hung on the wall.  This place was giving me the creeps.  The old maid leads me into the sitting room where Brianna and her parents seemed to be sitting quietly sipping tea.  Brianna whips around almost immediately and jumps out of her seat.  “Oh my goodness!  You’re here already!” she yelped as she threw her arms around my neck and hugged me, almost as if we were distant relatives or something of the sort.  “Thank you Old Maid,” the mother says, did she really just address her that way?  “Jeremy, welcome to our home.  I’m Diana and this is my husband Beta Arnold,” Diana says as she holds out her hand for me to shake.  I oblige and then pick a chair to sit down in.  I can see Brianna is a bit disappointed I didn’t sit on the sofa next to her.  “Jeremy, how was your trip?  Not too long I hope,” Diana asks.  “Umm..yeah it wasn’t too long.  Uhh..this is a nice place you have here,” I say, trying to be polite.  “Ahh yes, the Alpha and Luna have a very odd taste,” Beta Arnold says, “Brianna, why don’t you show Jeremy where he will be staying?”  “Ok!” Brianna shouts as she jumps from her seat, “Come on Jeremy, follow me.”  She leads me up the stairs to the second floor and down the hall.  “This is my room and this will be yours,” she says gesturing to the room across the hall, “and my parents are at the end of the hall.”  She smiles and bats her eyes until I answer, “Thank you Brianna.  Can I put my bag in my room?” I ask, trying to hint I wanted to retire.  She seems a bit disappointed, but nods in agreement, “Dinner is in an hour!  I’ll call for you,” she chirps as she walks back down the hall, making sure to sway her hips.  I roll my eyes and enter my room.  As soon as I turn on the light, I can see the same decorations have been instilled in this room and I give a heavy sigh.  I throw my jacket on top of the gargoyle statue and lay down on the bed.  Right on time, Briana is tapping on my door, “Jeremy!  Dinner is ready!!”  I rolled my eyes, she had the most annoying little squeak for a voice.  I got up and headed for the door, when I opened it, she stood there in a new outfit.  A thin dress that looked like it was for a twelve year old.  I groaned and internally rolled my eyes.  Did she think she looked cute?  She smiled and took my hand in hers, leading me downstairs to the dining hall.  When we entered, the Alpha was seated at the head of the table with his Luna by his side.  Their Alpha son with his wife and pups sat next to them.  Beta Arnold sat across from the Luna and Diana next to him, Brianna led me to the chair next to her mother, taking the seat and sitting me down beside her.  Across from us was the Gamma, sitting next to the pups and his wife next to him.  There was also the Delta, who sat across from me and much to my confusion, was staring daggers at me.  I quickly looked away as the Alpha spoke, “Welcome Jeremy, to our lovely home!”  His voice was deep and loud as he smiled grandly at me.  “I hope you will enjoy your stay with us,” he nodded his head to me and the Luna smiled.  “Thank you, Alpha,” I replied briefly.  The kitchen doors shuffled and out came an array of maids and Omegas, bringing in all the platters of food.  There were big heaps of steak and chicken, along with various side dishes.  The smallest Omega, gave me a plate and served me a steak and my choice of sides.  She smiled at my modesty as I helped her with my heavy plate.  I was not used to such luxuries as my Mother had always been the one to cook with everyone helping set the table.  She liked to keep things a bit modest and didn’t mind the compliments she received on her cooking.  I could tell Brianna was bit annoyed at the Omega’s sincerity and purposely placed her foot out, making the poor girl trip.  I immediately jumped to my feet to help her up after she apologized profusely, as if it were her fault.  She couldn’t have been, but maybe sixteen years old.  Her face had turned bright red and I could see her brown eyes on the verge of tears.  After I had helped her up, I glared at Brianna who had a smirk on her face as she shoveled mac’n’cheese in her disgusting mouth.  I shook my head of the incident and started to eat.  When I looked up to grab my drink, the Delta again was staring at me.  What was this dudes deal?  I tried to ignore it and continued to consume the delicious meal.  When we were done, the maids and Omegas, came back out to collect our dishes.  The same small Omega came for my plate.  I picked it up and placed it in the bin she was pushing.  She smiled shyly while keeping her gaze to floor, “T-thank you, Alpha.”  “You’re welcome, little one.  Oh and give my compliments to the chef, everything was delicious,” I said.  “The mac’n’cheese was too salty,” Brianna butted-in, noticing the girl was back.  I rolled my eyes and the Omega giggled silently.  She continued on with her duties, as Brianna turned to me, placing her hand around my neck.  She brought herself closer to my ear, seeing as she was not strong enough to pull me into her, and whispered, “Let’s go upstairs and I can show you my room.”  I had to hold my breath at the horrid stench coming off of her, like dirty socks, gross.  I shook my head from her grasp, “I’m tired Brianna, had a long trip.  I think I will just go to bed.”  I could’ve swore I heard a faint growl, but as I was about to look around for the source, Brianna stood up abruptly and left the table with a huff.  When I looked back to the table, the Delta watched as she left the room.  This guy was giving me the creeps. The next morning, I was told to be at the training grounds by 6am, so here I was at training, running circles around the other trainees, including the Delta, who couldn’t keep his eyes off of me it seemed.  When it came time to spar, we did ten minute intervals and kept changing partners.  Brianna was the first to pair with me and it wasn’t sparing she had in mind as she tried to rub herself against me any chance she got.  I was getting a headache from her stench when the coach blew the whistle, signaling the time to change partners.  These guys were no match for me, but when it was the Delta’s turn, he did not hold back at all.  He let me have all he had at full force, leaving me no choice, but to return the vibe.  It took me less than five seconds to slam this creep’s back on the mat.  He growled and jumped up immediately lunging at me.  He landed a few blows to my ribs which made me growl loudly, pulling everyone’s attention to us.  We kept at it for an hour it seemed as a crowd had gathered around us.  I was getting annoyed at his perseverance after having landed hard blows left and right, he should be tapping out by now.  He landed a jab at my throat causing me to heave and cough, this pissed me off as I growled loudly.  I grabbed him by the shoulder and punched him so hard, he flew across the room and hit the wall.  The coach finally blew the whistle and ran to see if the Delta was ok as I rubbed my sore throat.  The Delta laid motionless as he sat against the wall and the coach had to call the nurses.  After they took the Delta to the infirmary, the coach turned to me, “The Alpha wants to see us in his office.  Everyone is dismissed.” We reached the Alpha’s office and before the coach could knock, we heard a loud, deep, “Enter.”  I gulped hard before the coach opened the door.  The Alpha sat in his big chair behind his desk, his unkind eyes were settled on me as I entered the room.  I looked to my feet to avoid his gaze.  He sat back in his chair and crossed his arms, letting out a sigh.  “So I welcome you to my home, allow you to stay under my roof, feed you and this is how you thank me?  Beating on my Delta and sending him to the infirmary?” his words like ice shards.  I stayed quiet, not quite knowing how to answer.  “I asked you a question,” he bellowed.  “With all do respect, Alpha, he came on strong and after laying him out several times, he kept coming for me.  He jabbed me in throat and this sent me over the edge, I landed too hard of a blow to his chest..” I tried to explain as the Alpha cut me short.  “Yes, he can be headstrong when it comes to fighting, but you must never underestimate your Alpha strength.  You could’ve killed him,” he stated.  “Coach?” the Alpha turned his attention to the coach.  “Alpha Jeremy was relentless, I feel he could’ve stopped at any moment, but chose not to,” the coach spat cooly.  My mouth hung open as I stared at him in disbelief.  “Are you kidding?  You and the entire class had front row seats as we went at it, you could’ve blown your whistle at any time!” I shouted.  “Are you suggesting I don’t know how to run my class?!” the coach reproached.  “I’m saying, why did you allow the fight to continue well passed the ten minute interval, only blowing your whistle when someone got seriously hurt!” I pressed back.  “You little..” the coach began, when the Alpha interrupted, “Enough!” He slammed his fist onto the desk and glared at us.  “Coach, do not forget that he is an Alpha, nevertheless what has happened, you will show him respect.  It seems to me, things got out of hand during sparing.  No foul play.  I know how Delta Zeke can be and I’m sure it caused a lot of attention, which is why Coach Ram let the fight linger.  I am going to dismiss the both of you and I don’t want to see either of you in my office again.”  “Yes Alpha,” we said almost in unison. The rest of the day went like normal as I finished the school day.  Brianna stuck to me like glue, mostly to fend off the other she-wolves who followed me around, like my personal posse.  Partly I was thankful for that, but then she was just so annoying I felt like I was suffocating.  After dinner, I immediately retired as I had had a long day and was very tired.  Training started at 6am and I didn’t want a repeat of yesterday.  Zeke had glared at me the entire time during dinner.  I decided to wake up earlier and get it out of the way, I would run during sparing time and avoid it all together.  I woke up at 4:30am, got dressed, and headed downstairs for a snack before training.  I was sure to be super quiet as I didn’t want any uninvited company on my task.  As I crept down the stairs and entered the hall way towards the kitchen, I heard a faint sound.  I debated on whether to investigate or just continue towards the kitchen.  Curiosity got the best of me as I decided to follow the sound to a door at the end of the hall.  The door had been left ajar and as I got closer, I could hear Brianna’s voice coming from inside.  What was she doing awake so early? And then I heard another voice, a man’s voice.  I stopped, inches from the door and peeked through the crack.  “Ahh..Ahh.. Oh Goddess,” Brianna moaned as she laid back on the bed.  There was a man with his face buried in her folds and he lapped her vigorously.  Tears streamed down her face as she reached ecstasy.  “Oh Goddess, Zeke,” she whimpered.  “Was it good baby?” he replied sensually.  Her legs trembled as she nodded her head, a smile forming.  “It’s your turn,” she said menacingly.  He laid back on the bed as she pulled down his pants and began working on his manhood.  She stroked him and then took him in her mouth as his head rolled back and he groaned with pleasure.  I stepped back and made my way to the kitchen.  I shook my head at what I had seen and rummaged through the fridge for something to snack on.  I finally decided on some carrots and headed out the back door.  No wonder he was glaring daggers at me all the time, I was supposedly trying to steal his girl. I had avoided everyone during training and made it to class early.  The bell rang and Brianna entered the room just seconds after, finding her seat next to mine.  “Jeremy, why didn’t you wait for me?” she asked, batting her eyes.  I cleared my throat and acted disinterested, “I was trying to avoid a repeat of yesterday.”  The teacher came in and everyone fell quiet as she began the lesson.  When lunch came around, I took a seat at a table alone and Brianna, once again, quickly shuffled over to me.  “Jeremy!  Why didn’t you wait for me?” she pouted.  “I was hungry,” I replied shortly.  She extended her hand, placing it on mine, “But baby, I was late this morning waiting on you,” she continued.  “Oh really? And here I thought it was because of your morning session with Zeke,” I snapped.  She flinched and her cheeks turned as red as a tomato, “Wha-what are you talking about?”  “Cut the crap Brianna, I saw y’all this morning, when he was face deep inside of you.  Let’s get something straight.  I don’t want to be here and have no desire to have any type of relationship with you.  The only reason I’m sitting here in Mystic Shadow is because my father is making me.  I have already found my wife and have no desire to be with another.  I don’t even want to take over my pack.  So let’s make a deal, you leave me the hell alone the rest of my time here and I won’t tell your daddy about your little affair with his Delta,” I spat at her.  Her mouth hung open as I collected my tray and left the table.  To my relief, she honored the deal and avoided me the rest of the week.  As the car came around to take me back home, I thanked the Alpha, Luna and Betas for their hospitality and wished Brianna good luck in trapping the next sucker in her little web.
