CHAPTER 6 – He felt it too!

Avery’s POV

I was sneaking to the school praying not to see that face. No one noticed me since I was a nerd and I was slithering to the locker rooms to keep my things and look for my friends. I was passing the playground area when I saw that Trevis and his henchmen were talking to Mia. There’s no difference between Trevis and Mia, they both would love to humiliate people and be satisfied. They are the blood-sucking vampires of my life.

I lowered my head and walked towards the locker room areas not getting the attention of the devil. If I could vanish in the air, then I would not think twice to do it. The loud thumped heartbeat became normal when I reached the locker rooms to keep my things. I took my mobile to call Penelope and Lucas. Usually, they are in the locker room area waiting for me, but today they do not seem to be here. I was about to dial the mobile, but suddenly someone grabbed my mobile.

“Hey gi….” I turned to ask for my mobile, but my eyeballs widened to see the devil standing so close to me blocking my breathing space. I feel so uncomfortable with his close proximity.

“Come on, go ahead, ask for your mobile” he shut the space between us by keeping another foot ahead and caging me between him and the locker rooms. He leaned a little by keeping his one arm on the locker room door. I felt that I was choking and my heart was beating like it would come out from my rib cage at any time.

“Ask for it” he gritted his teeth and said with an anger-laced voice.

I know that if I utter a word, it will be his victory. He wants to see me suffer, that’s how they get the satisfaction. I cried and screamed at the beginning of these bullying sessions, but then I determined that there was no one to listen to my cries, so why should I cry and give them satisfaction?

“Ask for it, or else I am gonna crush it into the next second!” I hear from the other side that Penelope has answered the call and she keeps saying hello, but Trevis was not gonna give my phone back.

It’s just a basic Android mobile, I don’t know what satisfaction he gets by crushing it, because his mobile is the latest iPhone which no one can afford.

“Your friend has answered the call and I am sure that those little pets were coming running for this little Elvy” He poked his index finger on my cheeks making me jolts. I am afraid of his closeness and I am afraid of him touching me.

“Seems like, Elvy got her little mouth shut, I guess you don’t want your mobile” I saw his henchmen Liam, Owen, Mason, and Jayden leaning on the corridor wall and looking at the drama he was playing and the other students were rushing to the classes ignoring the misdeeds happening here.

“No” he was about to drop the mobile, but then he heard me he threw it into the hands of Mason. Mason didn’t expect it to come and he was not prepared to catch the mobile and ultimately it dropped!

“Huh!” a surprised tone escaped from my mouth with my widened eyes.

“So, you came here passing me to bully this little piece of s**t?” here I get a lot of surprises in the morning, and now Mia was here too with her.

The smirk on Trevis’s face vanished as soon as he heard the voice of Mia. He turned to face her standing in front of me like a tower and covering me. He is 6’3 and I am 5’4 in height. I hope you can imagine the difference in our appearance.

“You came ignoring me to see this pathetic face? Why are you so eager to bully her Trevis? I have seen you bullying others, but you let them go after a few times, but with her, with this little b*tch, you keep doing it? what’s the reason?”

I can only hear Mia and I don’t see the expressions of both of them and I am worried about my mobile mine which fell. I am sure that it won’t work. I bought it after collecting all the tips I got from working, and it took me more than a year to buy one.

“Mia, I told you to mind your business. Don’t interfere in my business” Travis took a step forward toward her.

“What’s so special about her to run her behind leaving all the others behind? tell me Trevis? I want to know, so I can be the next bully of yours to come from my behind”

Does she think that getting bullied is a fun thing?

“Even in the whole world, I couldn’t find someone to bully, you will never be my victim Mia” I saw his shoulders shrug.

I thought to take advantage of this time and planned to reach my mobile, but I got the opportunity to merely pass Trevis.

“Hey, where are you going keeping your Elvy footsteps? I am not yet done with you?” he pulled me back by holding the hoodie of my jacket.

“Trevis, what the hell is wrong with you? Let the nerd go” Mia interrupted Trevis.

“Listen to me very carefully you b*tch, do not interfere with my things. This is your last warning Mia and next time I won’t waste my words instead a bullet will pass through your brainless skull” My eyes widened to hear this threat.

I turned my head 90 degrees to look at Trevis. He was not letting my hoodie go and on the other hand, he was squeezing Mia’s neck. Mia was lightly choking and I saw that Trevis’s fingernails were digging into her neck skin. Trevis’s eyes are blood shots and his upper lips muscles were shaking with anger and his handsome face was covered with disgust for Mia.

He was bullying me for the last two years, but I never saw him like this with me. He was enjoying bullying me. There was no hate or maybe I haven’t seen the wrath for me in his face.

“Trevis, leave it, bro, we have the class now” Mason rests his hands on Trevis’s shoulder. If he keeps squeezing Mia’s neck for another few seconds I am afrai that she might lose her life. Trevis is not going to let her go though the Mason asks him to do and they are afraid to tell him twice.

“Tr…evis, pl..ease let her go” I took the courage to ask him nicely. My voice stuttered, there’s nothing to be afraid of him. I have seen his worst part, and Mia was not a person who should breathe to see the next day, but I can’t let someone kill someone. Everyone had the right to live!

To my surprise, Trevis pushed away Mia and she fell on the ground coughing and fighting to gather some air in her lungs. Even his friends were surprised by this act. Trevis never listens to anyone, other than the baseball coach. The only thing I know he loves is Baseball.

“Take the b*tch away, I have no interest to see her V-line!” when Mia was falling her skirt lifted and her panties could visible. Her friends quickly lifted her from the ground and left the place quickly while Mia still coughing and rubbing her neck.

The corridors were deserted soon since the bell rang for the classes, but I couldn’t move, because Trevis was holding me from my hoodie.

“How dare you tell me what should I do?” he pushed me back to the locker room caging me again.

“Trevis, man the classes are gonna start soon, let’s go,” Jayden said from his behind. Trevis was towering above me and I was lowering my head to not to see his fury eyes.

He lifts my face by keeping his index finger and the back of my head bumped into the locker room door.

“Aww” I winched in pain.

“Somebody got hurt, do not come to give me your opinion on what I am doing, understood?” he gritted his teeth and jaw clenched. I am afraid that he got pissed for letting Mia go.

“B..ut, you were go..nna kill….”

“So, isn’t it good for you? She wants to bully you too. Don’t you feel good when she dies?” he brought his face to me. The smell of the mint was knocking into my nostrils.

“I d…on’t like to see anyone d…ie” I replied with all my courage.

His face changed suddenly, but he didn’t want to show it to me, so he quickly covered it with a smirk.

“The devil inside me doesn’t like to see your saint heart, that’s why I want to bully you” he whispered to me.

So, being a good person isn’t allowed by this world?

I struggle slowly to move away from him.

“Are you trying to brush my lips against your cheeks, like yesterday evening?”

My eyes widened and I quickly looked at him. His lips curled into an evil smile. He felt that yesterday!

“Avie, we were looking for you everywhere. Trevis, leave her!” it was Penelope who came running to me and pulled him away. Trevis looked at her with his clenched jaw.

“I don’t like when someone touches me without my permission and this shouldn’t be repeated peat blonde!” he threatened her. I was afraid that he would squeeze her neck too.

“T…revis, s…sorry” I pulled Penelope away. She was always trying to get into a fight with Trevis because of me.

“He was the moron and you are asking apology from him?” she pointed towards Trevis.

“Trevis, let’s go man” his friends were pulling him away and he was not taking his eyes off me and I was struggling to pull Penelope away.

“Penelope, please let it go. I am fine. Let’s go to the class!”
