Trevis’s POV
She should be punished for laughing at me! She should know with whom she is dealing. Mom brought a whole food tray to the library!
Mom had never treated me like this before. Besides, when did I study like this? I mean, today is the first day I stepped into the library.
I was lying on the couch and she was turning the pages of giant books we found on the bookshelves. She was looking at the food tray from time to time so I pulled it towards where I was and started to eat the food items mom placed on the tray.
“What are you looking at? The facts that you are looking for are in the books, not in the food tray” She should not look at the food.
I saw she was licking her lips and gulping the saliva. She should be hungry, they won’t have healthy meals in their poor home.
