What was he doing here? Was Cole following me now? I thought that we had solved this little problem when he saw Gavin kiss me, but apparently not. If only he would leave me alone. Everything would then go back to normal, and I could have my very normal, very boring life back, with the exception of having Gavin in my life now. I don’t think that I could ever go back to not knowing Gavin. He has been the best friend that I think I have always needed.
“Mia,” Cole aggressively pressed the palm of my hand to his chest. “Are you just going to ignore me, pretend like I’m not standing right in front of you?”
