Chapter 1: The Happiest Girls - "Ye-Rim, are you ready? Let's go or we'll be late!" Cassie almost said in a loud voice, calling her best friend who was still in her walk-in closet. Ye-Rim exited her closet and entered her bedroom. "Relax, girl. Our tickets are for VIP seating so it's okay if we didn't go there five hours earlier." She assured her best friend who was so excited and hyper already to go to the concert of their favorite kpop boy group - Antih6ro - a six member boy group who was bad boys on the stage. Yeah, the group never did any cute or boy-next-door type concert, they were always hardcore when they perform, especially at concerts. Hence their group name really fits them perfectly. "But still!" Cassie said almost frantically, her eyes getting rounder as she spoke. "We can't be late for the opening. The securities will probably sealed the door close while the concert was ongoing, so we really need to still be there much earlier. Even if we're just near the stadium where they're gonna held the concert, we still need to expect traffic, parking space and even the people we have to go through just to get to the entrance. And who knows what will happen while we're making our way at the venue. Anything can happen. I'm feeling nervous and excited right now I bet something sill happen!" she was almost going insane with so much hype. Ye-Rim narrowed her eyes at Cassie worriedly. "How many coffee did you drink? You need to cut some back and drink water instead, it's not good for your nerves to drinking several cup s of coffee a day." She advised her friend. "No wonder you're getting so nervous and jittery. Take a deep breath a few times and stop stressing yourself. And I'm already done, so after you tell me how am I looking then we can go." She told Cassie. Cassie took several deep calming breath before looking at Ye-Rim critically. Assessing her outfit. While Ye-Rim twirled slowly in front of Cassie before standing in front of the mirror and looking at her reflection before looking back at her friend. "So, how do I look?" Ye-Rim asked Cassie once again. Ye-Rim was wearing an A-line black tube dress with a gray cardigan that covered her shoulder and the length only reach below her breast and a golden flower brooch was used to pin and connect the front of the cardigan together at the front near her chest area. Her hair was wavy and flowing and her make-up was perfect that made her even more beautiful. She was wearing a patterned punk-ish stockings and thick soled boots. "You look like a beautiful rock chick who's ready to party." Cassie told her. Ye-Rim grinned. Yes, she preferred styles and clothes and looks that was more punk-goth-rock chick vibe. She sprayed her perfume a few times around her before putting it in her mini Alexander Mcqueen bag that was perfect for attire and look. "Let's go!" Ye-Rim told Cassie. Cassie stood excitedly and she smoothed her dress after she got up from where she was sitting at the edge of Ye-Rim's goth-princess style with all the frills and laces. Unlike Ye-Rim, Cassie was more the light and sweer Princess type of girl, while Ye-Rim was a dark punk type of Princess. They were like yin and yang and they were perfect as best friends, and during Halloween, what they do was to exchanged each other's looks to their and their parents and friends amusement. "Finally!" Cassie muttered as she followed Ye-Rim out of the bedroom, into the hallway, down the stairs and towards the front door. "Who's driving and which car are we taking?" Ye-Rim asked Cassie. Cassie eyed Ye-Rim. "I'll drive. We don't need any accidents happening to this momentous day, so we don't need any of your fast driving. But we'll use your sports car, it's faster." Ye-Rim only shrugged and nodded. She didn't really mind not driving, it was no big deal. But once she was on the driver's seat, well everyone better hold on to their horses, she drives like a lunatic. And luckily she never had any serious accidents yet except for car scratches, running over a sign board and driving over a patch of flowerbeds. Other than those, everything was cool. And well, it helps also that the City's current Chief of Police was her uncle from her mother's side, he might berate and lecture her but it also gave her leeway not to get into too much trouble. "Then, let's gooo... " Cassie said in an excited sing-song voice as they made their way to the main door. "Already leaving, girls?" It was Ye-Rim's mother - Serena Chadwick-Lee- who asked them as she saw them leaving as she exited the entertainment room. She was a former professional football cheerleader that was why it was not surprising why she stayed so beautiful and well-proportioned like a ports illustrated model despite being married, having kids and almost in her mid-forties Ye-Rim remembered that it was Friday and that meant her mother had her friends over for their book and movie club and she was probably about to see if the foods were ready for her guests. While her father who was a retired football player was doing some sports commentary tonight at a professional football game. After retiring, her father who was also a celebrity in his own rights - Lee Byung-ho - became a sports announcer for football after it was offered to him and her father who loved sports accepted the new job he was offered, and besides that, he was also coaching teenagers who had dreams and potential to become a future professional football players. And despite being a father and husband, her father still maintained his good looks and good physique, and Ye-Rim might not tell it in front of her mother but due to her father's heritage, he kinda looked much younger than his age and younger than his wife. And Ye-Rim and her younger brother Ji-ho - who was already a football captain in his junior year - took after their father's korean heritage with porcelain skin with almost invisible pores, almond shaped eyes and dark hair, while they inherited their mother's aquamarine color eyes, statesque stature, and a straight nose. Everyone sais that Ye-Rim and her brother looked so perfect, both beautiful and handsome that they could easily become a celebrity. They were always praised with their gorgeous look, and that was all thanks to their parents combined genes. "Hey, Mrs. Lee!" Cassie greeted with a smile but she didn't stop either from heading to the door. "Yes. We're leaving now for the concert." Ye-Rim told her mother, walking towards her and they exchange a kiss on the cheek. "Well, have fun but be careful on your way." Ye-Rim's mother told them, and meaningfully looking at Ye-Rim. Ye-Rim grinned. "Don't worry mom, Cassie's driving this time. She wants to make sure that we'll arrive at the concert without any delay or accidents." She said cheekily. Ye-Rim's mother sighed and rolled her eyes in amusement. "Okay, be careful. Call if you need anything. You have your money and tickets with you?" she reminded them. "Yeah. I will, later." Ye-Rim said, assuring her mother before she and Cassie went out the door of the mansion and rode the car outside the front door that was already prepared by one of the house staff. After they entered the car, Cassie immediately started the car and drove out of the driveway, towards the tall gate that the guards opened automatically using a device and they were on the road going to the concert! And Cassie couldn't stop from grinning excitedly while Ye-Rim started connecting her music app to her car's bluetooth.
