SHOCKING REVELATION

Abigail's POV:-
I keep my eyes downcast not wanting to be the center of attention although I know it's futile because I can hear the murmurs of the pack members. We stop in front of a makeshift stage where the acceptance ceremony is going to be performed.
Helena and I walk up the stage before we take our seats. There are three elders present on the stage along with Alpha Leonard and his beta, Samuel whom I have been introduced to before. One of the elders comes to the front and starts chanting some holy words, then asks me and Alpha Leonard to join him.
"This pack has been deprived of the Luna for two years but after today onwards, we are going to have a luna who will work side by side with our alpha." John, the elder says aloud while the crowd cheers.
"Now I want Alpha to start the ceremony and welcome our new luna to the pack." By saying that the elder turn towards Alpha Leonard who nods his head.
"Give me your hand." He tells me in which I forward my right hand towards him. He cuts a straight line the palm with a knife making me wince by the sudden impact. My blood falls on a gold bowl which starts to glow after a few seconds. He then cuts his palms too and drops his blood on top of mine on the bowl. Soon, the blood gets mixed with each other and I can feel a new energy surge through my body.
"Do you, Abigail Ruso, vow to protect your people from the enemy? Do you vow to stand by the Alpha in happiness as well as in misery? Do you vow to solve any problems that will occur in the future? Do you vow to die while saving your people?" The elder asks looking at me.
"I do." I reply without any hesitation. It doesn't matter if I have my destined mate by my side or not, I will never let anything happens to this pack because today onward this is my home.
"With that being said, I now pronounce you as the Luna of the Royal Majestic Pack." The elder declares while putting a gorgeous crown on top of my head.
Suddenly I can hear a lot of voices in my head making me stumble on my feet but a strong, muscular hand hold me from falling down. I look up to see that it's none other than my husband who is looking a little concerned but in a second his face contour in void of any emotion. I stop the mind linking and instantly feel relieved.
Helena takes my hand in her and leads me towards a group of ladies. Now that the ceremony is completed, everyone will enjoy a huge dinner together. Many pack members come to me and introduce them with excitement. I try to talk to everyone but I think everyone understands that this is not possible in a day.
Finally, after a few hours, the party starts to slow down as the pups are getting tired so their parents take them inside the packhouse. The teenagers also walk inside but not before telling me to hang out with them some other day. I also get to know that I am not going to live in the packhouse as my husband has a different mansion.
It takes five minutes for us to reach the magnificent mansion and I can't help but to wonder how much money does he has to afford such luxury. My dad has a lot of money too but it seems he is nothing compare to my husband.
The moment the mahogany door opens a little body crashes into my body making me halt. I look down and notice a toddler who is smiling brightly at me. I don't know why but I feel like I know her which is odd because I haven't met her before.
"Welcome home, Luna." A elder woman says with a gentle smile.
"Thank you," I reply with a smile.
"Mommy you no talk wif me." The baby girl says making me confuse.
"Who are you calling mommy, darling?" I ask crouching down to her level. But before she can reply, Alpha Leonard walks inside and the word that leaves the toddler's mouth puts me in complete shock.
"Daddy! You home." The toddler yells out and runs towards my husband who picks her up in his arms before spinning her around making her giggle.
"What's going on?" Emery lets out.
"I don't know. Can it be that this little girl is Alpha Leonard's daughter?" I wonder aloud.
"If your assumptions are correct then not only do we have married someone who is not our mate, but also has a daughter." Emery replies making me feel uneasy.
"Abigail, I know you have seen our Sarah's photo but still I want to introduce you to my grand-daughter and also your new daughter Sarah Grace Ruso." Helena says happily but I am feeling completely numb inside.
"Daddy me meet mommy." Sarah demands making me clench my fist.
She happily skips towards me with a toothy smile and I don't want to destroy her happiness by saying that I don't even about her existence. I can think about this matter later because right now I have to play the role of a good mother.
"Uppy." She demands cutely in which I pick her up in my arms and surprisingly she lies her head on my shoulder making my heart feel warm for some reason.
"I can tell that she already loves you because she doesn't like to talk with strangers." Helena says looking very happy.
"I am going to my bedroom." Alpha Leonard declares and without waiting for any response he marches out of there.
"This boy is behaving like a baby." I hear the older lady mumble but due to the werewolf hearing, I can hear her fine.
"Abigail, there is another person whom I want you to meet. This is Martha who is a very good friend of mine and looks after my son like her own. She also lives in this mansion so if you need something you can tell her." I smile looking at Martha who is giving away such a motherly vibe that I can see myself getting along with her well.
"What are you going to do about Sarah?" Emery asks.
"What's there to do about her?" I ask not understanding what she means.
"Look I am already angry with you for marrying someone else other than our mate. So, don't think that I will accept any pup other than my own as my pup." She retorts making me gulp in fear.
She is my other half and I can't lose her for anything. But what I can do to solve this problem? I can't even back out of this marriage because it's already done. I think I should call Dad and ask him about Sarah. My mind is saying that he knew about her but chose not to tell me. However, my heart is not ready to accept that he can do something like this.
"Mommy me lob you." Sarah says making me look at her to see that she is smiling softly. My heart clench because I can't reply to her.
