Maggie glares at Mateo.
“You know you just spoiled their perfectly romantic moment?”
“I wanted to see if she would say yes before seeing the ring.” He grins and there is a mischievous glint in his eye.
Maggie grabs the ring from him and hands it to William, who looks as if he has just received the most precious jewel ever. The people around them laugh as William goes down on one knee again, this time with the ring in his hand.
