Chapter 8

"Ice Skating Rink"

"Hold my hand so you won't fall until you feel comfortable again," Jensen said as they get on the ice.

"Okay," She smiles as they are skating holding hands with their bodyguards following them on the ice. 

Paparazzi are everywhere taking pictures of them. 

"I'm sorry this is happening to you," Christina is standing in front of him with her arms wrapped around him.

"It's fine. I have to get used to it. I didn't expect it since you own a cosmetic and perfume company." He said pulling her closer to him, kissing the top of her head.

"Probably because I started the business out of my mother's garage. When I was seventeen. Made it into a billion-dollar company within a year and a half. So now they think my business is theirs. When my mother died, Cliff and Vicki went with me to Berlin. On the way to my plane, they surrounded the car, one reporter asked me how did I feel about losing my mother. Cliff went off on the man and hit him a few times. It got pretty ugly. The man sued me and Cliff. But he lost the case." Christina said looking up at him

"I'm here now, I'm not going anywhere. We will be together, for the rest of our life." Jensen said lifting her chin kissing her.

"David "

I'm so f*****g sick of Mavis. But she does have money. She has gotten on my last f*****g nerves. She wants to have s*x all the time. I don't enjoy eating her p***y all the time.  But it keeps her happy and free with her money.

Mavis and I are sitting in bed when she flips the channel to watch some s**t about celebrities. I am sitting there with my eyes closed trying to block her annoying ass out.

"Look, David. They make a beautiful couple," Mavis is pointing  at the tv

 I kept trying to ignore him. But she kept repeating look at them. I open my eyes to look at the tv. Jensen and that young lady I saw him with earlier were on a gossip show.  So I asked her "Who is that woman,"  She said "Christina,"  then asked me "why do I want to know" staring at me all crazy.  I told her "she looks familiar."  Mavis said "she owns a cosmetic and perfume company. She's a billionaire, that's her boyfriend Jensen, he is a businessman." 

I asked her again just too, make sure I heard her right. Mavis repeats everything again. I couldn't believe this s**t. I sold his ass for fifty thousand. He's not living like a slave. He ends up living with a f*****g beautiful billionaire.

I'm going to Robbie's in the morning. Maybe we can find a way to get to him and get some more money. I got enough money to catch the payments on the house up. She'll have to let me come back. Then I will work on finding Jensen. Talk him into forgiving us. Maybe get some of that Christina's money.

So the next morning David didn't waste any time diving over to Robbie's house. When she looks up he was the last person that she expected to see. "Why are you here? " she looks up from the box that she is packing

"I was stupid for leaving you. You're all I thought about." David said looking at her pitiful.

She shakes her head. "Well, you might as well keep going. As you can see I'm packing." Robbie is  looking around the room

"I went by the bank and paid the past due balance and four months in advance," David said giving her the receipt.

"What do you want?" Robbie asks as she looks at the receipt

"Nothing, I just want us to work things out. I even stopped at the store and bought some groceries"  David said smiling.

 "You get one chance," she said pointing at him

"It's good to be home," David said as his phone rang. David looks at its Mavis. He put his phone in silence.

"One month and one week after the auction"

"Vicki, make me an appointment with Aunt Pat," Christina is sitting at her desk holding her stomach

"Are you okay?" Vicki asks looking at her

"Yes, I just need a checkup, " Chris looks up from her laptop looking at her.

"Check up my ass. Your ass is pregnant. I heard you in the bathroom throwing up."  Vicki said while digging in her purse.

Christina is looking at Vicki. "What is she looking for?" She is thinking

"Here take this," Vicki said giving her a pregnancy test out of her purse.

"You walk around with a pregnancy test in your purse?"  Christina asks looking at the  test

"That's not the point right now,"  Vicki shakes her head. She points toward the bathroom. 

"We'll talk about this later,"  Christina is walking into the bathroom to take the test

Ten minutes later she comes out of the bathroom. Sits at her desk looking off into space.

"Chris, Chris are you okay?"  Vicki asks

"I'm pregnant."  Christina mumble looking at her

"You have a man that loves you.  I see it in his eyes when you two are together. You love him. You can afford it." Vicki said looking at her

"Go buy some more tests,"  Chris said looking in her wallet

"How many?"  Vicki asks

"As many as this will buy," Chris said handing Vicki $300.00.

"Okay. But I have four more  in my purse that you can take." Vicki said looking at her

"Bring them to me. Girl, we really do need to talk." Chris said shaking her head looking at Vicki.

After she takes the other four tests. "They're all positive," Christina sits behind her desk looking at the tests that she is holding in hand.

"That's because you're pregnant,"  Vicki said sitting in the chair across from Chris looking at her

"I need to talk to J,"  Christina said picking up her phone to call Cliff to send someone to pick her up. 

When she arrives home Jensen is in his office taking one of his classes. Christina did not want to disturb him. She walks into the kitchen to get something to drink.

"Are you okay?"  Linda ask her looking concern

"Yea, I'm fine," Christina said looking at her watch

"He will be finished in five or ten minutes,"  Linda said smiling at her

"Thanks. I'm going to change." Christina said walking out of the kitchen. 

Chris didn't waste any time changing into a lodge set. she is sitting on the bed thinking about all the positive pregnancy tests. 

"Christy," J walk to their bedroom looking at her sitting on the bed.

"Hey," she said looking at him

"What's wrong? Your home early."  He is walking to the bed. 

She didn't say anything. She lays all the pregnancy test on the bed

He looks at her then looks at them. "Positive, they are all positive," Jensen  picks up two of the tests

"Yea,"  she said looking at him

"We're going to have a baby." He said sitting down smiling

"Yea, we are," Christy said sitting down beside him

"We're having a baby! Jensen shouts, kissing her

"You're happy about this?"  She asks as hugs her

"Yes, looks like I'm going to be a stay at home dad," Jensen said smiling

"It looks that way. I always wanted some kids. But I didn't know if you did." Christy said looking at him

"Yes, I want kids. Have you made an appointment to see the doctor?" Jensen asks rubbing her stomach, smiling

"Vicki was making one for me when I was leaving," Christy said smiling

"I'm going with you." He said smiling still rubbing her stomach

"Okay." She said still smiling

"Anything, you want or need?" Jensen asks as he is kissing her cheek. 

"No, I'm fine. How did your classes go today?" She asks

"They are going well. I have a test coming up in my Fundamental of Marketing class. Cliff and I went to In-N-Out for lunch." He said

"A juicy cheeseburger does sound good,"  Christy said smiling

"I think Linda is cooking a crown roast. But we can go out to get you a cheeseburger. You know Cliff and the guys will eat it."  Jensen said taking her hand leading her down the stairs.

"Cliff, we want to go out, Christy wants a cheeseburger."  He said smiling

"Okay, back to In-N-Out?"  Cliff asks, looking at her smiling. 

"Yep," Christy said smiling heading out the front door

Forty minutes later they are sitting in the drive-thru.   Jensen is staring at a man that is walking in front of them. 

"J what's wrong ?"  Christy asks looking at him

"That's David," Jensen said pointing at a tall handsome African American man. He is getting in a Toyota Camry. 

She looks at the man. "That's your stepfather?" Christy asks still looking at the man

"Yep. That's him. Wait, is that Robbie in the car?" Jensen said looking at the car.

"They must have gotten back together," Cliff said looking at them

"That's your stepfather?" Christy asks again looking at the man

"Do you know him?" Jensen asks

"I think he is the sperm donor. " Christy said looking at the David

"What sperm donor?" He asks looking at her confuse

"The man that my mother was dating when she got pregnant with me. I have seen an old picture of him when I was younger. I don't know his name. My mother never told me.  I never ask because I didn't want to know it."  Christy said looking at the car as it pulls out." "Cliff, find out if they are back together," Christy said

"Do you know where the picture is?" Jensen asks her

"Yes in that gold chest in my closet,"  Christy said as she is thinking about something. "The last text I received from my mother was about him. Then she was killed."  

"Your mother was killed?" Jensen asks

"Yes, by a hit and run driver."  She said nodding her head

"That's how my father died."  He said looking at Christy 

"All the witnesses in your father's case said the driver wore dark shades and a hat. The cars disappeared in both cases. Your mother the witness said the driver had on a ski mask. I will get on it."  Cliff said driving off.

When they arrive home Cliff, Jensen, and Christy goes straight to her closet. She is looking in the box for the picture. 

"Here it is," Christy said as she hands it to Jensen.

"Yep, that's David. I wonder why he hasn't tried to get in touch with you for money"  Jensen said handing the picture to Cliff

"My mother changed my name when he left us. He named me Daphne. So she changed my name and gave me her mother's maiden name for my last. She didn't want him to find me."Christy said

"Don't you two worry.  If he's responsible for your parent's death. We'll take care of him."  Cliff said

"Okay, thanks, Cliff," Jensen said looking at Christy

"Thank you. I'm hungry" Christy said looking at J

"How can you be hungry? You ate a double cheeseburger and fries not an hour ago." Cliff is looking at her concerned. She never eats that much.

Jensen is looking at Christy smiling

Cliff looks at both of them standing there smiling at each other.  "Wait a minute. You are pregnant?" Cliff said smiling looking at Chris

"Yes, Christy is pregnant!" Jensen said wrapping his arms around her. Kissing her on the cheek

"Congratulations! Damn, we're going to have a little one around here." Cliff said smiling

"Thank you, Christy and J," said in unison smiling
