Chapter Four

The car stopped at a traffic signal and he went back into his flashbacks. How the Malhotra family starved to bed at night after the huge bankruptcy and how she was always there with him, for him. Nyonika used to give me 10 bucks to have something from the canteen which for him was not some mere cash to waste in eating. He saved all the money and bought his first share of 25,000 bucks at the age of 18 and it was a huge success. But, Nandini didn’t let him starve during school. While she was appointed the kitchen duty in the orphanage where she resided for she cooked very good, she sneakily packed an extra tiffin for him.

Manik : I know you are not sleeping sweetheart. Come out and yeah change your dress. Our next date? Maybe. Manik loves you.

Nandini smiled and replied : Coming Soon. ♥

She kept her glasses and book on the side table and started searching something good enough to wear for their *next date*. She was surfing when she found a packet and remembered their shopping moment. Aha! The dress was gifted by Manik. She quickly changed into it and was looking alluring enough to blow his mind. It was a deep neck cut cherry red dress which highlighted her perfect size, combined with the hazel nut eyes she had which were ocean of love for him.

"Manik? " She walked towards the car and along with the driver reached the spot where Manik had asked the driver to reach. The driver went away leaving Nandini alone. She knew it was an *usual beautiful date* but was it?

She walked along the candle placed on the borders and smiled seeing Manik's love. He was the perfect friend. Best Friend. Boyfriend. But Husband?

Nandini's POV

Wait. Was she missing something? Nai? But the decoration was something different? Maybe he's in mood for...? But? Aha! Stop it Nandu..! Hes the most caring human being. He understands me.

"Manik! Where are you??" He was nowhere to be found. Where is he?

I walked more closer and found some sounds. I looked towards the left and found something glowing . I looked more closer and there was something written? Wait. Let me read it. M.A.R.R.Y M.E? Okay. It looks beautiful. I was about to turn when something popped in my mind. Wait! It was written? Marry Me? My goddd!! Are my eyes having some problem? Myopia? Wait...Nanduuu!!

I rant towards the scribbled letters and caressed it with tears in my eyes. He just asked me for..? Wait. He didnt. Where is he?

I turned around and found the most beautiful sight, it was Manik. My Manik. He was sitting on his one knee with a ring in his hand. He was smiling. Duff! His smilee!! ♥ I looked at him and he spoke "Nandini..I have spoken much in this long relationship we have, But this is something new! This is for US. I wont say more but will ask just some few words. Will you marry me?"

MANIK's POV.

Ahaaaaaa! Manik....My godd...She is looking so beautiful....! Uff..! But wait.She was having tears in her eyes. And she was nodding her head in a yes. And as soon as I made her wear the ring and stood up, she crashed in my chest and started weeping. Happy tears.

AUTHOR's POV

He smiled and caressed her back saying "Shh! Why being such a cry baby, darlinh? Its a happy moment for us."

She got out of the grip and looked at Manik with a happy yet red eyes. He caressed her hairs and cupped her cheeks kissing her forehead with utmost love.

"Can I pick you up?" He asked looking at her. She nodded in a yes with a glowing face.

"I love you" He pecked her cheeks as he picked her up while she snuggled in his warmth and hid her face in his chest while he smiled looking at his Baby Love.

He placed her on bed and her eyes scanned him. Ouu. She forgot to compliment her handsome hunk.

"Manik, You are looking very much good. Very much ho.." She shied away from speaking the word and hid her face in his chest. He giggled and spoke softly near her ears "Hot?" She looked at him and nodded in a yes while he pecked her forehead and said "Thank You Baby Doll. You look no less. I toh want to gobble you up now only. Can’t help! Need to resist" He said earning a smack along with a blush on her face.

"What?" She asked him as she saw him looking at her and smiling. "Nothing. Just glad that I met you" He confessed and leaned forward sharing a deep and intense kiss.

After the kiss, he left her and hugged her tightly.

"Nandini" He looked at her. "Yes." She said.

She turned around as he loved back hugging her. He back hugged her from behind and sucked her earlobes making her giggle.

"Manik, we will soon get married ?" She asked.

"Very Soon Honey. I have made you wait real long! Very soon.! We will visit our mansion and we will meet the priest to arrange the dates" He confessed and she smiled to the fullest. She was going to get married to her life.

"Manik! I haven’t informed Maa!She will be worried nah" She said.

"Nah! Sweety..I had informed her earlier..Now sleep.! You are tired." He caressed her hairs and she slept due to tirednes.
