“All right,” the nurse said, unwrapping the cuff around Rain’s arm. “I’ll be back later.” “Is my pressure all right?” Rain asked, sitting up against the pillows. She turned and smiled. “It’s still a little low, but much better. So relax and enjoy the view.” He looked out of his hospital window. He could still see the La Fontaine Park and it reassured him. “How come I have a private room?” “I guess your insurance covers it.” She looked out into the hall. “Oh, you’ve got visitors.” His insurance? She meant Milo’s insurance. Evidently, he was still covered by Milo’s plan. That thought irked him. Now he’d have to thank Milo again. Moments later, Bernie poked her head in his open door.
