“You’re an asshole.”
I wasn’t surprised Carrie had known exactly where to find me. I was a little surprised she knew I was missing, but I shouldn’t have been. Matt had probably freaked out or gotten pissed when he came home to an empty house. And since I’d ignored the texts he sent me and silenced the phone when he tried to call, he had probably called Carrie, either thinking I was with her or that she would know where I was. And since I hadn’t been with her, she went to the one place she knew I would go when the world was too much and I needed to think.
