“Is something the matter?” Sterling inquired when he answered the door.
Zeke gaped at him. “Your house is unique.”
“Oh! Thanks. I like the fact it’s built into the bottom of the mountain, and it’s located at the very edge, so it’s hidden from view most of the time unless someone actually drives all the way to the end of the driveway.”
“It’s private all right. I honestly thought something was wrong with the online map on my smartphone when the robotic voice told me to keep going several more feet. I expected a dead end. Instead, I found it and your house to my left,” Zeke said as he entered. “Doesn’t it get hot in here, though? You’ll probably need your air-conditioning on all of the time.”
