Chapter 19 - Hello, Death

Videric destroys the door to Chandler's mansion with just a flick of his fingers. He gave everyone who's waiting for him inside his famous malicious grin. The soldiers take a step backward but they didn’t run since they swore to protect and follow whatever orders that came from the general.

"It's best to just let me be and show me the way to my bride’s room," Videric speaks out before placing his finger on his lips to shut them up.

"If you want to live, let me be. I promise I shall not end your life," The king takes a step forward and smiled as the soldiers let him go his merry way. 

"Good.." the soldiers stare at the king.

"Very good indeed," He smiles and walks towards the stairs. 

He walks up while wondering how did the general manager to live such a lavish life.

"Miss Olympia Dixon," He calls out.

"It's been days and I yearn for your love. I yearn for your presence to be by my side," The king opens the first door on the right when he made his way to the second floor. 

Olympia was hiding in her parent's room with her mother while holding a gun. They were both ready to face the vampire who raided their mansion.

"Come out, come out wherever you are..." the king yells and open the last door at the very end of the hallway. He gave Olympia a loving smile before controlling her mother’s mind. 

"Oh, I'm sorry for this intrusion. I just want to pick my bride up. Our wedding will be for several days. There will be no wedding if the queen is not there," The king bows his head and offer his hand to Olympia.

"You need to kill me first if you want to have my daughter!" Chandler yells and stabs the king on his chest with a silver sword. Videric's mouth ajar with a little sense of pain. He looks down and grabs the blade with his hands.

"You want … to kill me..." Videric said before laughing at the general's attempts.

"You want to kill a dead person?" Videric questioned. Videric made his way towards Chandler with his sword still in his chest.

"Have you forgetting something old man?" Videric touches chandler's face with his bloody hands.

"You're not God to stop me. You're not the goddess to prevent me from taking my bride," Videric looks behind the General to Olympia.

"Shall we go now, queen Olympia?" Olympia was flattered while blushing hard. Chandler grabs his daughter by the arm and hid her behind him.

"You will not kidnap my daughter! It's enough your kind killed my son!" Videric gasps.

"Oh no. Valentina is not my kind. She's simply a serpent goddess. She's not a vampire. But I did send someone to seek revenge for you. You should thank me for that," 

"I will never say thanks to someone who kills innocent people!" Videric suddenly hisses loudly, making the Dixon family squirm in fear.

"YOU LISTEN TO ME MORTAL! WHATEVER YOU DO, YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE THIS FATE! EVEN IF I GO NOW, YOUR DAUGHTER WILL SEARCH FOR ME," He leans into the General.

"She will die without my love. That's what being a mate does to your mind. You can ask your daughter what she feels about me," Videric leans back and gave them some space.

"Olympia?" Chandler turn.

"I'm sorry, dad. He's right," Olympia takes the king's hand before he pulls her into a hug.

"We're meant to be.," Chandler can't believe what's happening to him.

"You took my daughter away.." the king shakes his head.

"I will never do that. Olympia can visit you anytime. Just, you will grow and die while she remained this way, for eternity," Videric smiles to his bride.

"Pack your stuff. Just pick something you want to bring. No need to bring your whole wardrobe. A future queen will have her seamstress in the palace," Videric smile and let his bride went to pack her things. The Dixon couple hugged each other. 

"You should keep the world safe from the creatures, Chandler. Why not focus on that," Chandler gives the king a dry laugh.

"Focus on that? My daughter is going to be a vampire. The queen to be exact and you want me to focus on capturing the creatures she will become?" Videric smile.

"I'm pretty sure the queen of our realm did mention that you can only capture a criminally insane creature that terrorizes your world," Videric smirk.

"What you did in the past has made you undone. Correct?" Videric laugh before invited his bride to hug him.

"Remember. If you did good, your God will do you good," He kissed Olympia's forehead and smile.

"Let's go home," The king waves at the Dixon. 

When they both walk out of the mansion, Videric made sure that everyone sees them together. He wants to tell everyone know that's she is now a queen. The soldiers' gasps as they witness what is going on. Some disgusted and some show how disappointed they are in Olympia. For that moment, the future queen doesn’t care. She feels something that she has been dreaming of.

"I’m not planning on quitting on getting my degree," Videric nods.

"Of course. You shall finish your study and I'll be there, every step you will take," Olympia was glad as she hugs the vampire king with all her heart. They both went inside a limousine before Videric shows his world to her.

"Before our wedding, you shall meet my daughter, your stepdaughter," Videric notice Olympia's expression changes. 

"Don't worry. She will accept you like I accept our fate to be mates," The king smile and slowly leans into kissed Olympia's lips passionately. For the very first time after the passing of his first wife, he feels genuinely happy.

Natalia was chained to the walls when Chandler grabs a set of brass knuckles and repeatedly punch the undead life from her body. The vampire laughs while being tortured by the General himself. Fred looks away from watching them both. Fred knows how sad his friends are about his daughter. 

"Your kind never stop torturing my soul!" He screams to the chained vampire. Every hit she received sends joy to Natalia’s well being.

"You will pay! Your kind will pay!" Chandler said before sending a hard blow on Natalia's lower abdomen. She gasps at the sudden hit before looking up to the General. 

"Do whatever you want to me. It will never bring your daughter back, idiotic human," Natalia mock.

"SHUT UP!" Chandler screams before slapping the vampire's face hard.

"Your king will pay!" Natalia looks up with an intense stare.

"Even though your daughter falls in love for the undead who manages to give her the happiness that she seek?" Natalia questioned the general. When she saw how he hesitated, she laughs before freeing herself from the chains with ease.

"You need to relax, human," it only took a small tap on the general’s forehead to make him asleep.

"Because I need to finish my mission," Natalia uses her power to shut the door and forbid anyone from running away from the room. 

"You all shall not alert the other," She twists everyone's head and when it is Fred's turn, Natalia did the same as she did with the general.

"The world needs someone like you,” She kicks Fred's body to make sure he's not waking up before stripping one of the guards and used his uniform to infiltrate the heavily guarded facility. 

Her plan to infiltrate the facility as a soldier went well until she needs to place her thumbprint on a machine to enter the cellblock. She sighs and killed anyone who tried to stop her from going any further. The whole building was on lockdown and Valentina was curious about it for the first time. She stands up and looks at the guards running around, making sure that the other prisoner is inside their cell. 

Natalia jumps from the first floor to the second with ease. She smiles at Valentina who's surprised to see her suddenly appear outside of her cell.

"You have to come with me," Natalia said before smashing the glass cell easily. Valentina didn't move even an inch before Natalia grab her by the arm and lead her to the way out. 

They both flee the army base and enter the supernatural realm to avoid being found. It was when they both landed at the enchanted forest, Natalia finally pushes Valentina's back on a huge tree. Valentina was enjoying this treatment more than ever. 

"So you broke me out of the prison so you can have s*x with me? How romantic," Valentina was about to kiss her 'savior' when Natalia shove her Valentina’s head through the tree and grab her head and face the serpent.

"You have something my associate wants," Natalia smirk before pulls Valentina away from the tree and push her towards Geva. 

Valentina laugh when she noticed the last person she dreamt of meeting again.

"You.." she continued to laugh.

"What can you do to me. I have your powers. You're powerless," Geva smile at the serpent and removed the strands of hair from Valentina's view. 

"You may have my powers but it's mine. And only I can control them," Geva speaks out before stabbing Valentina's chest with her hands. Geva moves her hands around and searches for the very item she owns inside the serpent’s body. Valentina was enjoying the feeling too much when she moans out loud. 

"Do it again.." Valentina gasps when Geva pulls out her hands forcefully. And shows the serpent goddess the bloodstone she stole.

"She's all yours," Geva shove the serpent towards the vampire. Natalia didn't bother to catch the serpent and watch her fall first on the ground. 

Valentina holds her chest that refused to regenerate like it used to. The vampire walks around the helpless creature before kneeling.

"You're a greedy little creature. Now that the very source of your power is gone, let's see if you can beat me up. GET UP!" Natalia yells. 

"GET UP b***h!" Natalia kicks the creature on her side and watches her fly across the forest. Natalia jumps before landed next to the groaning creature.

"What? You can't even stand up for yourself?” once again Natalia sends her up to the sky. But before the serpent’s body touches the ground, Natalia grabs the creature's body and tore off Valentina's head from her body easily. She laughs hysterically, sending chills to any creatures that lurk nearby.

Geva was fascinated when the vampire could easily dismember such creature at ease. The vampire didn't even disgust by all the blood and it made Geva wonder what kind of experience the vampire have to endure all this time. Natalya drops the headless body on the ground and walks towards the princess with the serpent head in one of her hands.

"I have avenged you," Natalia kneels in front of the princess and places her head on the princess's feet. Geva was confused by her gesture.

"Videric mention about respecting you as the warrior princess. Is this how we do it?" Geva kneels and lifted Natalia's head. 

"This is wrong. You're my master. Not me," 

"I am no one master. I have no ranks to look up to. You're a princess and I shall serve you," Geva shakes her head.

"I made a promise and that promise shall I hold. Stand up and bring back the head to your king," Natalia smile. 

Suddenly they both heard a screeching scream coming from somewhere near them.

"You bastard! You dismembered me!" Natalia looks at the head in her hands before looking up to Geva.

"You'll pay for this!" They both laugh when they heard Valentina's bodiless head talking back to them. 

"This will be a very interesting collection for the king.," Geva chuckle.

Katarina stops in front of Videric's palace and looks up the vast building. She heard a fade sound of loud music inside and calm her heart down. She is nervous about meeting Natalia. She doesn't want to look so desperate in front of that vampire. She notices the double doors were open and reveal Videric who smiling at her. 

"Come in," The king invited and open the door for her. Katarina bow with a smile.

"Follow me... oh this is my bride, Olympia Dixon," Katarina bow to the future queen.

 "Katarina Oasis, my queen." Olympia blushed. The king leads the werewolf towards the party and asks her to walk inside the ballroom. 

"She's inside," The king smile and left her alone with her thoughts. 

Katarina saw Natalia sitting on the couch with groups of people. She was about to walk towards her when she saw a winged creature placed her head on her shoulder, wrapping her arms around the person she cares the most. Katarina can feel something boiling inside her body when she marches down to where the vampire is. 

She stops in front of them and crosses her hands, tapping her left foot on the floor while looking as mad and jealous as ever. Natalia looks up and smiles at Katarina as if nothing happens.

"Katarina Oasis!" Geva beams before she gets up from resting her head on Natalia’s shoulder and grabs Katarina by her hands. 

She pulls the werewolf and made her sits next to Natalia. Geva was admiring the sight of two powerful beings together at last. At first, Katarina was ballistic. But when her lips attach to Natalia’s, she finally feels at ease. Her anger simply gone and she doesn't care that Geva was watching them at all. 

Geva rested her head on Natalia's shoulder and watch how the two beings making out. Katarina pulls away and wonders why does Geva doing so. It was when Natalia turns her head around and leans into Geva, Katarina understands why. It's such a sight to watch two women kissing each other. 

Katarina was this close to joining them when she feels someone pulls her away from Natalia hold. She was struggling to break free but the hold was too strong.

"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! YOU'RE COMING HOME, YOUNG LADY!" Katarina squirm under her father's hold to escape. Natalia pulls away and stands up. Geva did the same and went to the alpha to get Katarina back.

"You took her away," Geva said nonchalantly and snatch Katarina back from the alpha's arms. Duncan was bewildered and wanted to pound the winged creature but Natalia manages to grab his fist. 

"You don't want to hurt her. You'll have so much trouble doing so," The party was interrupted when Videric shuts it down. He went to the alpha and ask him to follow him somewhere. Katarina watches as her father followed the vampire. She feels like she did something horrible towards her own family. 

Videric closes the door behind them and turns to face the alpha.

"Can you stop being so dumb!" Videric exclaimed.

"And why don't you STOP YOUR CREATION FROM KISSING MY DAUGHTER!" Duncan snaps.

"Why is it so hard for you to open your mind?" Duncan scoffs.

"Like you, when Arika chooses to marry a human?" Duncan looks behind the desk and notices Olympia looking up to him.

"Oh. You followed her footsteps. How nice," He nods his head to Olympia.

"Be careful. His father bites. A lot," Olympia went pale. 

"Ignore him, darling. He's lying," Videric explained.

"I don't think so," Olympia responded.

"Look! The point is, the goddess has plans for your daughter and my creation. Just shut up and let her do her job. I don't want her to march down my palace, demanding things," 

"I will never let a vampire be in my family," Duncan end the conversation with him kicking the door down.

"THAT’S AN IVORY AND GOLD DOOR, YOU DOG!" Videric shouts and went out to inspect the door when he saw Geva, Natalia and Katarina went inside a room.

"Looks like those three will have fun," 

Natalia closes the door behind her and turns to the winged creature and a werewolf. She smiles widely and claps her hands to turn on the lights.

"I have two more tasks to do and then I'm working for the man who rules the underworld," Geva sigh heavily.

"We'll be together right?" Katarina blurted it out loud, making her wolf face-palming herself. Natalia laughs.

"I know something you don't and trust me, the future with me will only bring chaos. If you wish to proceed, let me know," 

"How about her?" Katarina asked about Geva. 

"She's my master and its the servant's fate to be with their master," Geva responded.

"What is she yapping about?" Katarina sneers.

"Relax. Sit down and smile. Don't be such a b***h towards the princess," Katarina was surprised by how Natalia acted. But her wolf stops her before she said anything because it is her fault. 

"Now, the reason why I'm bringing you inside the room. Take off your shirt," Natalia demands without caring how the werewolf would react.

"Excuse me?" Katarina questioned.

"Take off your shirt," Katarina was shocked but did as told. Geva chuckle when the werewolf chooses the wrong night to go braless. Katarina blushed when Natalia kneels and rubbing her tone stomach in front of the princess.

"I'm sorry but this will sting a little," Ambrose warn her before piercing through Katarina's stomach with her sharp nail. She winces before biting on her lower lips to control the pain. 

"What are you doing?!" She snaps.

"Shhhh. Relax," Katarina feels something was pulling out from her guts and gasps when she saw Natalia’s bloody hand.

"What is that black liquid on your hands?" Katarina asked while Natalia lick the little wound and healed it with her saliva. Geva grabs Katarina's body and laid her down on the bed. 

"You can ask your parents for that," Natalia stands up and throw the chunk that was in Katarina's guts before in the trash.

"Have some rest. Geva will keep you company. I have something to do," 

Natalia gives them both a loving smile before walks out of the room.
