CHAPTER SIXTEENJesse didn’t need to dream up feature stories to keep himself busy. News of the day was as relentless as waves on the beach. Sometimes, small stories turned into much larger ones. Jesse found that the deeper he dug into any story, the more interesting it became. One day he found himself investigating vandalism in a historic neighborhood that allegedly sent the property owner to the hospital with a heart attack.
