Big Wet

The cars arrived at the community around lunch time. The people living there came out to welcome them, grateful for their help. Many of them ran out to hug Mira. Mira walked over to Blane and took his hand, leading him over to the people. She pointed to Blane and then put her hand over her heart. The people stood and looked at Blane and then at Mira. Then they looked over at Doc who nodded. They all rushed out and began to hug Blane and shake his hand. For a moment he was completely overwhelmed. Affection was not something present in his family home and it was unfamiliar. He liked it though, it felt good. “They are welcoming you.” Doc said quietly from behind him. “Mira is a very much loved part of their community and so they are welcoming you, asking you to be a part of them too.” They began to load up the cars with belongings and people. Many sat in the backs of utes and wherever they could to make sure everyone could travel. “Look.” Doc said, pointing to the distance. Blane turned to see a rolling grey cloud fill the sky. It seemed to be heading their way. His mind returned to the plane, the fear of seeing the smoke and the storm. He began to shake as Mira looked over towards him confused. “Blane, get in the car, we need to go.” Doc called out. Blane continued to stand there, staring at the oncoming cloud. “Blane, we wont get past some of these roads if that rain hits.” Doc warned. Mira was watching and jumped out of her car. She ran over and took Blane by the hand. He instantly felt the calm her touch brought sweep over him. Mira walked him to her car while Jimmy, who was sitting in the passenger seat of Mira's car, got out and ran to Docs car. Mira got Blane into the car and closed the door, getting back into the drivers seat. She put the car into gear, and they headed back towards the town. The cloud moved behind them like it was closing in on them. Blane was staring straight ahead, his body shaking. Mira reached out and grabbed his hand, holding it tight. He looked at her and squeezed her hand back. Lighting split the sky, arcing over the horizon. When the thunder chased it Blane felt like the ground would swallow them up. It sounded like an earthquake. “Big Wet coming brother. This a good thing.” One of the elder women from the community said, squeezing Blanes shoulder from the back seat. She nodded to the elderly woman next to her who also reached out and touched Blanes other shoulder. Images began to appear in his mind of a tremendous storm with heavy rains. He could see the barren land as the water engulfed it and then the new life. He suddenly felt calm and serene. He could picture himself walking through the new life, Mira walking beside him. He was holding her hand and she was smiling and holding her stomach. He saw the tree where Mira and Jacks baby had been born and it was covered in flowers. “Big Wet bring new life brother.” The woman said quietly. Tears fell freely down Blanes face as he nodded. He had never felt so peaceful in his life. He wondered for a moment, was what he had seen his new beginning here? He took a deep breath in and then out. He could see the storm behind them in the side mirror, but he no longer felt fear. They were nearing the town as the first raindrops began to splash on the car. Mira sped up, knowing that if the rain hit, they wouldn’t make it back to the town. The road would be washed out and unusable. When they finally arrived in the town the other cars were already unpacking. Some of the cars had veered off to deliver people to the homesteads and stations in the area. They hoped to return before the rain hit. Mira parked in front of the pub, and they began to unpack the bags from the car. As Blane walked into the pub Davo called out. “Hey Blane, give us a hand with the jukebox!” Blane put the bags he was carrying down and helped Davo wheel the big old jukebox outside. “Are we making room? Do you need more things moved out?” Blane asked. Davo laughed. “You’ll see why very soon my friend.” He said as he looked out to the clouds racing towards them. They soon had all of the cars unpacked and everyone settled. Everyone stood on the verandah of the pub and watched. It was a spectacular sight to watch the clouds roll in like that. One of the women who had helped to calm him walked over to where he was standing. “This a time of new beginnings brother. Breathe in and then let everything go.” She smiled as she patted him on the back. As the rain began to fall in earnest, Doc put some coins into the jukebox and selected a song. “OOOOHHHH YEAH!” Keith roared as the opening bars to “Dancing In The Storm.” By Boom Crash Opera rang out. Everyone ran out into the street as the rain fell over them. “We believe the Big Wet washes away the old and makes room for the new.” Doc said walking up to stand beside him. “We celebrate the new beginnings.” He smiled as his wife ran over to him and held out her hand. Mira was out in the rain, dancing around as the rain fell on her face. She was already dripping wet, and she looked amazing. She held out her hand and he went to her, ready for his new beginnings. He whirled her around as they danced in the rain. His heart felt light for the first time in his life As the song stopped, Mira came in to embrace him. He smiled as he looked around at everyone, so care free. Mira took his hand and began to walk towards the pub. They walked inside and through the bar to the rooms out the back. When they got to his door, he took out the key and opened it. Mira walked inside and he followed behind her. They took off their wet boots and socks and stood looking at each other. They were covered in mud and dripping wet. Mira pulled her t-shirt over her head and threw it on the floor. He had noticed she didn’t wear a bra; in fact he was sure if she could get away with no clothes she would. She pealed off her wet jeans and Blane barely suppressed a laugh to find she had no briefs on either. She was just so amazing; he could hardly believe she was his. This beautiful child of the earth and mother of all things wild. She walked over to him and pulled his t-shirt over his head. There was no need to be shy in front of her, they had spent 24 hours naked together. He pealed off his wet jeans and boxers and kicked them aside. Mira smiled to see he already had an erection. He wasn’t at all embarrassed with her, not about being a virgin, not about being completely unable to control his body around her. Mira put her hand on Blanes chest. His heart was racing, and he wondered if she could feel it. Mira kissed his chest and he groaned. “Mira.” He said as she nibbled and kissed her way up to his neck. “This is my first time. I just wanted you to know.” She held his cheeks and looked into his eyes. The love he saw reflected in them took his breath away. She kissed him, gently at first until he gently tangled his hand up in her hair and pulled her closer. He stepped backwards until he felt the edge of the bed on the back of his legs, and he sat, pulling Mira onto his lap. She curled her legs around his waist as she deepened the kiss. “Oh Mira.” He cried as she smiled and sat up off his lap, hovering above him. She pushed herself forward and before he knew what was happening, he had entered her. He groaned, his breath catching in his throat as she kissed his neck and shoulder. Mira had control and he was happy to let her lead. He held her around the waist, rubbing his hands up and down her back. He kneaded her muscles on her hips and back and she groaned in pleasure. As he looked into her eyes, he felt it. His teeth were beginning to elongate. Blaze wanted to mark her. He noticed that her teeth were doing the same. He no longer had control and he gave himself fully to Mira. He knew at that moment he would do anything to be with her. She leaned forward and licked his neck. Instinctively he did the same to her and like they had rehearsed it a million times, they both bit into each other’s necks, marking each other. Blane lost all control and roared his c****x, holding Mira tight as he filled her with his seed. They both fell back, Mira on top of Blane, panting and trying to catch their breaths. He glanced at the mark he had left on her neck, the perfect seal that claimed her as his. “I love you.” Blane whispered. “I love you too.” Mira whispered in return.
